Free Range Naturism / Re: The Secret Naturist Handbook
« on: August 31, 2019, 09:25:55 PM »
While the above items are very much based on personal opinions, they do serve well in defining what secret naturism entails and I would strongly advise anyone who follows, or intends to follow, the path of the secret naturist, to also adopt and abide by them."

I still have this handbook, and it makes perfect sense.

Cheers.

Hi guys, I am still with you ;-)  Interesting discussion, the towel is indeed a typical item for naturists. I think it is not always necessary from hygienic point of view but also to dispel prejudices on bare life.
There are so many reasons to have a towel with you and use it or not. I personally think it is always a pleasant idea to use a towel for sitting down on  when being out somewhere  in nature.

Paul

Hi Bob,

Yes you are right, there is no real definition if a place is suitable or not, but I think that the outcome of this court case will create awareness by the local authorities anyway. So it is good news for all nudist / naturist in my country. :)

Cheers,
Paul

Yes Bob, I agree that the more people are confronted with nudity the easier they will accept it as something normal .  But it will never work if individuals start streaking the city center or disturbing football matches by streaking for fun.  Nudity should must fit into the right situation.  And individual actions don’t have the same effect as actions performed by groups.  Things like the naked bike ride, or the installations by Spencer Tunick, getting official nudist trails in Germany, getting article 430a in our Dutch law to decriminalize nudity,  getting official nudebeaches at the whole coastline of my country.  All done by groups and naturist organisations...

Trip reports / Re: Out Near the Lake Again

Great report Duane, thanks for posting. I might not be so very active lately but I still love reading all the reports posted on this great site.  And I like the photos too, this landscape is so totally different compared to what we have here in my country.  It looks a great place for free hiking. 4.5 hours of undisturbed hiking would be unthinkable here.

Cheers,
Paul

You are right John, flashing4fun was not my site, I like to promote the acceptance of nudity but I think those type of dare sites are causing the opposite effect.

Free Range Naturism / Re: Encounters...what to do?

Not much of a reaction from that dog walker John, he just ignored the nude guy trimming his beard. Maybe he didn’t know how to react.  Not even a “good morning” or something  like that.  Yes it could be that he saw other nudist before while walking his dogs, but I don’t think that it would be likely. Personally I think that he was wondering about the reason why you were making the video.  ;)

Hi Jbee,
Thanks for the info, I like your site very much, it is like your trip reports on the forum. I think it is nice to have the trip reports bundled on a website.  I will ad your site on my link page.

@ Jbee, I didn't know that you have a site as well, I am very interested to have a look and maybe we can exchange links. I always like to put good naturist sites on my site's link page.  So could you tell me the address please ?

Cheers,

Paul

Thanks guys for letting me know that the links are o.k. :) I think that by typing the URL the computer can automatically adding things to the address Jbee. Maybe you need to do a spyware / virus scan on your system and clear the browsers cache.   I also checked the site this morning from a different location, as my router always gives me the shortest road to the server which is a part of my network at home. But it looked o.k. from there as well.  So I think the site is clean and o.k.

Yes I’ve rebuild my site to make it more open, the previous one had a members section because some people (including myself) preferred to stay more or less anonymous.  Later I’ve realized that the Internet has no privacy. And also I think that enjoying naturism is not something to be ashamed of. There are millions of us.  And the best way of getting a better acceptance is to be open and honest about it.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi guys,

Thanks for notifying me, I had a look and tried it on different computers and my mobile. As far as I can see it there is no problem if I click the url it comes up clean without any porn pages showing.
I have two URL’s one for the Dutch site http://www.mijnnaturisme.tk/
And another one for the English site http://www.mynaturism.net.tf/
I had a look at the code and I see no alterations…
I will try it today from a different location and connection.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Bob, I have no tattoos and no piercings. Personally I haven’t got anything against people who like to wear them.  And as a naturist I also don’t understand why some of us are making such a fuzz about it.  The only body modification that I have is a circumcision, that was done to me when I was a child and I still have problems with the fact that I had no say in it. I am sure my parents had it done with the best intention but I still see it as an unneeded mutilation. But that is a different subject. Anyway I think tattoos and piercings are someone’s personal choice, but I prefer to stay natural.
