Yes you have the right place ,the screw generates power the wheel is part of the old mill . The whole building has recently been rebuilt by English Heritage. I used to come here to practice naturism when it was just a ruin and I haven let the rebuild change my ways . It has always been a local swim spot . Nowadays it is sometimes used for school visits and the like when it gets far too busy for naturism but you would know before walking down to the mill as the car park would be full. Summer weekends can also get busy in the afternoon,except for those times it is generally quiet with maybe a visitor every hour at the most on a nice day . On a hot sunny afternoons groups of teens/ twenties often come to swim. Ive taken to litter picking on the site and helping with the upkeep, I am able to do this naked with just the occasional cover up when required.

Hi ,been away for a while. Spent the last couple of days at Howsham mill York , walking working and swimming naked, other visitors come and go, some swim naked most dont,others just come to look at the mill or are naturalists. Ive never had a negative comment. I always ask the swimmers if its ok for me to be naked. Tend to cover up when passing close to mill visitors but dont hide the fact that ime naked.

Strensall is a village just outside York , the common is more like moor land with some woodland ,certain areas are used for army training.

Good hiking in Sonbou up past Santo Thomas and inland from Sonbou , As I set off from the beach most days I only took my shoes so I couldnt cover up if I wanted to. I met dozens of folk most days and not one negative comment, sometimes I would just get a Ola or Morning  from some others would chat and others would walk with me. Back home on Strensal common today with shorts in hand, a male jogger approached but I decided not to cover up and I just got a"good day for it " later a middle aged female dog walker came from nowhere ,I held my rolled up shorts in front of me and said excuse me , She replied oh dont worry ime a nurse and went on to talk about her dog liking to be fussed over . So a good couple of weeks I would say.

Hi Ime Fuerta from York some of you may know me from another site but the name of this site explains me perfectly
I m self employed and if I am out and about and find myself in a place i can go for a naturist walk then I do so. Love to holiday in canaries and Skiathos.
