Duane, you may remember last year I visited JOhn's boat at Droitwich, but sadly not with him on it!
Droitwich Marina is indeed a good berth and we navigated up to Droitwich and did a little shopping, coffee & ice cream and then returned back to the Worcester & Birmingham canal.

Peering in through the window, Ernest is a nice boat - medium sized (50' is, JOhn?)and unlike the average rental boat is kitted out for two people to live in comfort, not 4-6 so there is space for a living room and room for armchairs and a desk kitted out to dock the laptop, which I was rather impressed with!  Quite a home from home!

Too much hair splitting and navel gazing!  :o  :P
Free can be secret, secrecy can be freedom, naturism out of sight and no boundaries is what we seek!  ;D

You are obviously a romantic and she has lost the game already.
Nice thought!

Weather has once again eased a bit vis a vis rain but I'm suspecting that we'll be shivering a bit even if we stay dry!
But this is the essence of britishness - you can't have everything all at one time and you put up with it!!

Also disappointed we won't see you, Dave!

Hope we coincide, Keith.

jbee, I can think of few things sillier than being naked in the rain under an umbrella!  We shall have the benefit of trees to shelter under and gazebos!

Can anyone remember how much dosh you need to put in the machines to park?

Send us a pic or two and let us know where you are!  5 weeks navigating.  Splendid.

Whoo!  Thanks JOhn, lots of leads.  A brief look at Amazon alone gives an embarasse de richesse of styles and types.
There were so many designs one wonders why M&S don't sell them for short portly 60 somethings!!

I strongly suspect that if you weren't a kind and loving husband there would have been not problems - you would have done whatever you wanted regardless of whether it made her miserable or not.

Very perceptive, JOhn.  This is really the heart of the issue - I'm too damn nice!  If I wasn't concerned about her feelings so much I'd have said "like it or lump it"!  She may well have lumped it! :)  But life's not like that is it?  Naturism is but one thing amongst many vying for priority!

However they do need choosing with extreme care

Any brand recommendations, JOhn?  I've not had much success with thongs and g's
When I was in the US I needed to top up my underpants (shorts) and bought some medium price multicolour Y front briefs from Walmart (Fruit of the loom brand).
Gosh they were comfortable! They are getting a bit tatty now (didn't last long!).

I got your links to work OK, Paul, and reminded myself of your site too and why I gained inspiration from it.

In my experience all Id. pictures look as though they were from a police line-up
I have to say, JOhn you often look quite deeply serious and concentrated on your tasks in your videos and stills.
Maybe that's your trademark.

BTW are you afloat currently and if so where?

Hi Brandonbares!

Were you a contributor to TSNS?  Can't remember your interjections, but then that's my geriatric old brain probably forgetting.  Or maybe you adjusted your nickname?

However and irrespective - you're very welcome to the new place for SN chat!

Just goes to show what a dang nuisance clothes are.  For a nudist you seem to have plenty!
I agree with JOhn and you.  We all have to be dressed sometimes.  There is no excuse for being an utter slob in circumstances where that might brand one as firmly as if naked in the same circumstances.

Tomorrow I have a board meeting of a company I'm helping.  I'll be in suit and tie as will most others!  I'll event wear socks!  (Socks are anathema to me these days).  Little will they know of my naturist side, albeit alive and kicking under all that cloth!

OK - That's nearly coincident! I'm looking to be there 12-12.30.
PM'd you my phone no. if we need to find eachother.  I can't remeber what keith looks like although I met him there on one visit a few years ago.
Hope the tea's plentiful.  We may need it to keep warm.
However BBC and Met office have softened their outlook and we are within the 5 day range now so confidence increasing of low precipitation percentage chance and not so warm, but, hey, we can exercise to keep warm!!

I don't drive naked with her because she is all about "what would the neighbors think," and I get enough flack just going barefoot in her company
I know the territory well, Bob, as I have described on many occasions!

As you know I'm not a carnuder as I don't find the mock leather seat comfortable against skin and I'm a bit 'fraidy-cat to be naked in our crowded urban streets in South London/Surrey.  However, I entirely recognise the creeping discomfort as the underpants (shorts) and trousers (pants) gradually ride up the crotch!

There is so much carnuding reported here that hopefully this will be an amusing and busy thread.

If your definitely going, Ian, so am I! What's your ETA?
BBC forecast is for rain later (16.00) but drier earlier.  MSN forecast has worsened to 70% rain in the afternoon! XCweather most optimistic.  I'll adopt PMA for a change and hope for warm & cloudy but bright for a decent time.
