I'm also a runner. Following achile heel injuries, I read a lot of what could be written to prevent this type of injury. In particular the book "Born to run" by Christopher McDougall. And I changed the way I set foot. I now run on the forefoot instead of the heel (I run two to three times a week and ran a marathon ten days ago in October)

The central part of the Alps is made of granite, but the so-called Pre-Alps, where my favourite hikes are, the Chartreuse and Vercors mountains, are made of limestone. It is also the kingdom of cavers, so many caves are there.

There are a few other views of Mont Aiguille on this post:

It's autumn, the nights are now too cool for camping.  In my bag there were warm and waterproof clothes but they didn't serve, water because there isn't any on this limestone plateau, a snack, two cameras, binoculars and a first aid kit.

For the translation, i'm using an online translator: DeepL which seems better than Google.

I hope that the errors are not too many and that the texts remain understandable..

Did you not try to swim in the little Lac du Lauzon?  I would have.

No, it was quite windy at this altitude od 2000 m and the surroundings of the lake looked a little swampy

It is fantastic and wonderful that the naturist hikers mixed freely with the textile hikers.  Did any of the textiles take off their clothes and become naked hikers?
How many were in your party?

I don't think some of them followed our example, but at least it may have made them understand that nudity can be natural and acceptable.
We were fifteen including a non naturist who accompanied her naturist husband
