Hi Norman, long time no hear from! If you see David again, you might call his attention to the Naked European Walking Tour report in Trip Reports here. He and I met on NEWT2014.
John,
Will do.  If he hasn't already seen your post.
I fancy the idea of NEWT but wonder if I could cope.  I don't do any cooking, and have only ever been out of the UK once - earlier this year when I had 9 days in France.
I've been on 17 of the 18 Naturist Ramblers' walks this year, but as you know, they are only around 12 miles at a very sedate pace.  How many miles in total does NEWT cover?
Norman.

Yes, and is it true what I hear, that it is uphill all of the way?

JOhnGw, I expect Naturist Corner has a larger membership than this site, and anyway, we're skewed towards outdoor-related topics, so we tend not to talk about other naturist aspects much. I wish there were a larger number of people here willing to speak up! Then we could have more conversations going.

I doubt if the walks on the NEWT trips are as much as 12 miles. But the Alps are certainly mountains--you might have to climb over 1000 meters a day! As for the cooking, those who know what they're doing and enjoy working with other people did most of it. The rest of us peeled a few vegetables and did some of the cleaning up if our conscience was nagging at us.

Sure, there's a little uphill work involved. But you don't always have to walk.

What was the encounter that is illustrated in the latest blog, Jbee?.  Was the lady illustrated a stranger and did she converse positively?  To an onlooker to the photo one might interpret her expression as not as positive as at first glance.  The evolution of a smile comes from aggression and we can smile when afraid or as a threat or warning display or as a sign of submission. Trouble is you can't see her eyes behind the sunglasses.

Also the Christmas preps blog is cute ...in a slightly eggy way :D !  Touching!  I was interested to see that it's chilly enough that you need a log burner stove to keep warm.

Nuduke, that was our hiking friend in the photo. Her smile was genuine and accepting.

The temperature drops 30F degrees plus or minus each day by morning. If it is 70F it will be 40F give or take. A low 60F day could even freeze before sunrise.
