On the second occasion I met Larry* (at the now distant memory of the historic Abbey House international SN meeting), I was surprised how much beer he shifted in a relatively short space of time! Not excessive but certainly quantitative! Yes, he got picked up after a beach day with a few BEERS and I think his grandson and got prosecuted for DUI. That was not a good moment for him I think.
If you're out there, Larry...come back to the fold, old chap, your contributions would season our discussions as in former years and the golden days** of yore!

* The first occasion was the Friday before the AHG moot (Sunday) when he and I had a BEER in Brighton as I was able to get there on that day and in case I couldn't make the AHG visit. Glad I did both.
