That is one interesting hat the fellow wading in the beaver pond has, the one with the light blue backpack.

That's an umbrella hat, Blue Train.  I had one once - it's a joke - mad thing.  It has an elastic headband and struts to support a tiny umbrella over your head.  The idea is that is a sunshade.  Didn't work in my experience but it is whacky and gets comments!
