It's a sort of fairground ride, Jbee. A large doughnut shaped (torus) pod rises up a high pole say 100-150feet tall and, I think, revolves slowly and descends again to let the passengers out. What you get is a seagull's eye view of the seaside town of Brighton. Having been to Brighton numerous times (mostly on business but on one occasion to meet Larry Tanman!) I can tell you that an aerial view of Brighton is probably a tad underwhelming. However, as Bob notes elsewhere, anything like this is good for naturism PR. These sort of events are becoming increasingly frequent and hopefully before too long will be commonplace, creating improved acceptance and tolerance of the right to be nude in public doing stuff that textiles get to do all the time.
