Nude Across America:Pt.2

After our traipse in the White Sands National Monument, we found a wonderful campsite at the base of the mountains on the east side of the Tularosa Valley. In the night, I stand naked, watching a flying disk doing incredible maneuvers out in the bright moonlight....

Browsing down the pictures in this report my eye was caught by the picture of the sandy deposit on your car. I was taken by the exotic rock formation reflected in the window.  "You can just turn round in the USA and there is beautiful scenery everywhere!" I thought.  And then I looked a bit more closely at the rocky mound topped by a large boulder and realised it was you in your hat, Jbee!! :D  Are you gradually turning into the terrain you inhabit, I wonder?

And...reading on, there was some nice prose in that report - very evocative as you describe the scene whilst you were peeing!

Sometime down the line, we all will turn into the terrain that we inhabit.  ;)

Are you referring to the reflection in the window, or the blob reflected in the car door?

Jus' tryin' to keep it real.....

I was thinking of having a t shirt  printed saying "I am 100% compostable...and it's started already!" :D

The thread has taken a metaphysical tack. I like it!
Jbee said; "It is expected that there just might be a possibility that just this once, the whole world will change for one small being, a proportionate speck that talks to God.  Pondering that, I figure that when you pray for good weather, it probably won’t change the weather.

I sit and think a little further. It would seem possible, that with a prayer and turning that over, as I did today, one may get guidance through that day. It could seemingly be like parting the waters and getting clear skies, by being directed to the right place at the right time. Maybe, maybe not…."
One small speck may only have the influence of one small speck relative to the universe, but to the speck, that might be quite significant.
I agree that a "prayer" will not change something as significant as the weather, but focused energy certainly can do "stuff". I am confident you have experienced the wonders of energy raising ceremonies. Whether in a church or pagan gathering, something is certainly going on.
Your experiences in nature are certainly enhanced by your openness to them. Do you influence those enhancements? I think so, consciously.
If you desire a full and rewarding life, you should (must?) live with intent. Not simply accepting the weather around you, but embracing it in your journey.
Stay Safe,  Stay Bare!

Yup the waters parted on that day, but often during the rest of the trip, you'll find that we are chased by the rain, continually changing plans. Our intent is of course warm sunshine naked.

If we were not chased by rain, we might still be back east. We were having a great time.  As the series unfolds, you'll see that we met some wonderful people. John P. and Dan, who we met here, are exceptional generous guys of free range kindred spirit.

Hey Safebare, good to hear from you here. Saw the original pre-production episode of Beverly Hillbillies on youtube last night. "Ya all come back now, Ya heyar!"

We're waiting for Zipolite to kick up again. This pandemic must have wiped the smiles off of several faces down there.
