Their territory for the hike appears to me to be the entity of southern France. A nude hiking festival sounds like a really fun idea. Maybe some day. Our two days of WNHD in Vermont seemed a version of that. Three days could be a festival...Maybe....
You brazenly walked into unknown territory and stripped off. When population hazards presented themselves, you found an alternative. You wandered the countryside off route into interesting places. Sometimes that's all the free range naturist gets. Sometimes, it is a better choice to wander off of the track.
We have had to do the same. Like once in Sedona, we looked for the least populated trail, but still had to go off trail to a lovely small canyon with a ledge, untouched vegetation and an awe inspiring view of a sacred mountain. Climbing up into that canyon, we found a new perspective of the mountain for some great photography.
One photo looks like a wonderful nude planet that sees its first glimpse of the Evil Empire arriving in space ships.
I suppose being a part of the federation as a naturist representative, you must be careful not to get complaints before your position is better established. Other than that, why couldn't you just walk nude into the crowd nude?
