I felt I was pushing the envelope more than anyone else, and didn't want to risk embarrassing Mrs F.
Having her along is a two-edged sword. If I'm seen nude in her company I feel I'm less likely to be perceived as a sexual weirdo or threat, but she does worry a bit that I'm being too bold. I'm very lucky to have her, when I read of the problems other guys have with their other halves.

Day 8  - morning - drove into the northern hills and walked in the hills near Guinate and Maguez. It was quite misty and cool to start with, and we were in a valley with several small farms so we didn't know how many locals might be about (answer - not many that we saw). I managed an hour and a couple of miles nude once we were in the sun. If we had a return trip I think I could improve on that.

Afternoon - we chilled on the patio and took a couple of local walks on what had become "our patch". Another 4 miles nude for me and 2 for Mrs F. I think there was too much of a cool wind for her to do more that day. Generally the second week was cooler than the first, which was a bit of a shame as she had been enjoying more nude time that I expected in the first few days, including indoors which is unusual for her.

Day 9 - morning - a fairly short walk up and around one of the many old volcanoes, "Montana Blanca". It was very windy and a few people were around so I only managed 1 mile of it nude. Then we drove to a small surfing resort "Famara" for lunch before setting off on a walk along the long beach.

Afternoon - Famara beach - My research had suggested there would be an increasing amount of nudity the further from the village we walked, but it never really happened except for the opportunity to spend a couple of hours in a stone-walled shelter, of which several were set back a little from the beach among rocky scrub. One other couple was doing the same. That was no bother at all, but there were too many textiles parading along the beach at frequent intervals for me to want to be the only nude among them. There was a strong cool wind on the beach itself, so perhaps a hotter day would bring out more naturists.

Those stone shelters give me the impression that there is often wind there blowing across the islands. Is that so and is there a lot of dust?
