That Bears Ears trip was monumental!  You were away for quite a time, remind us how long, please, Jbee.
That desert and environs has been fertile ground indeed for your blog and an education for us (well, me anyway!).
More to come?

We left 05-16 and got back around 06-14, A month happily living with a smallish tent in the open air and no rain.

We're talking about something similar in a different part of southeastern Utah this summer. I hope that that doesn't get too redundant, making our tales less gripping.

I have material for at least 13 more posts about the trip. There was a week up in the forested mountains and an amazing stop in Arizona on the way back. Several canyons with ruins, arches, ecological transition and more, before.  We're only about half way through.

The part II will explore those ruins, where we discovered the amazing within them. Hopefully tomorrow.
