403 access denied?

I tried to post a reply on the "germs" thread and got a 403 Access Denied page.

FYI. Hope that this reply gets to you....

I get those 403's sometimes.  Not sure what triggers them.  It may be attempts to paste images and dome of the provided icons.  Very irritating when it happens because you lose your post.

Just did another post, a couple of days later, on teh germs thread and it worked!?!

I get this a lot..

Some punctuation marks make the rest of any text disappear after writing it and I see a broken link for all the emoticons images. If I try to add a smile or other emoji it breaks. 
No exclamation or question marks either.

Tried using a VPN to be in the US bit all to no avail
