Any updates on what the future of this forum is?  It's been nearly 3 months since the last post in here.

I'm currently looking at how to transfer ownership to an existing member so the site can continue running. I've just been ridiculously busy with no spare capacity for anything. My own personal situation has become increasingly precarious so I'd like to know that the forum had been handed off to someone able to offer the community the stability it needs.

In terms of cost it's possible to create a Patreon account so people can set up a regular donation or one-off payment. This then allows the forum to develop and grow.

Karla, so sorry to read that you have what looks like serious personal problems. Whatever those are, please know that we on the forum value you and all you have done to keep this going over the years. Thank you again!

Karla,
I think that's the major stumbling block to transfer.  We just don't know what's involved or how to do it.  For one thing, how much does it cost?
The Patreon idea sounds promising but I've not a notion of how Patreon works - I thought it was for artists and creatives to sell their work.
Having set up and kept this forum running for many years, you must be fairly knowledgeable as to how it works and how transferring to someone else might work.  At any rate, you seem to be our best bet for that!! :)
We look forward therefore to further information if you might like to share it.
