Lovely pictures, Jacques. And I'm impressed that fr the sake of your art, you must have imagined how it would look, then walked around behind the camera location to set it up, then walked back and walked into the picture!

Keep moving to keep body heat going.   Even so it looks chilly.   Good thing the sun is out.   Lovely day for getting some sun.

DANG! Stunning, impressive,WOW! I can smell the air and feel the moister from the snow and the photo is so well set up. This is exceptional! Such a place and a moment. Clouds opening to majesty.

I don't see things like this where I go, but I know some from the past. What a planet!

Snow up to your thighs! For an Arizona desert rat to read such things, it is a chilling story. No wind and lots of sun, I'm assuming. I suppose that it is better than cooped up in water proof pants, or soaked pants.

I look up my window at the snow on Mt. Lemon today. Here, it will go down to 32F - 0C tonight sometime before sunrise. The wind is blowing, and its only 50F out there. I went out today, bundled up in a winter jacket. When the sun goes behind a cloud, I think that it is cold, at chill factor. Go up into those mountains naked?...where it is actually freezing...nope. Inconceivable today. :o ;D

Of course, that's why I live here. Only short trips naked into snow, every few years.
