naturist adventures during my round the world trip
« on: April 12, 2016, 01:36:38 PM »
Well it all seems a bit quiet around here So now I've got my self a bit more sorted having returned home from a year long round the world adventure I thought I'd share one of a few naturist adventures I enjoyed during my sabbatical year.

I was on the Australian south coast for Christmas weekend, having travelled along the Great Ocean Road east from Melbourne.  Staying in a lovely B&B in Cape Bridgewater the weather was kinder that some other parts of Australia that I had travelled through. (read cooler! - think more 20 degrees C than 48 degrees!)

On Christmas eve, I enjoyed a fabulous 4 hour meander around the bay's headland, where I managed to walk a significant part of it carrying my shorts and enjoying nature naturally.

Sanding on a wooden viewing platform watching the fur seals under clear blue skies was a fabulous part of the walk. Over the whole walk I passed three people as I walked up from the beach, where the path meandered round the cliffs to a boat launching area. After that I had to cover up once as two american girls headed towards me, but I saw them probably half  mile away as they approached.

At the same time I saw two huge 6'+ red kangaroos bounce across the scene taking no notice of fences or farm animals. The girls had myself had a brief chat about seeing them. One of the great things about being in such naturist friendly climates is walking in flipflops (thongs in Aus - not sure what they are called in the US) and shorts with a tshirt tucked in the waistband is seen as completely normal and makes cover ups completely easy.

The scenery along the coast was amazing!

with a few purpose built viewing platforms there was plenty of opportunity to take in the views from a better perspective that edging up to precarious cliff!

Further round the headland were the "famous" Bridgewater blow holes where waves crash against a rocky shore and in rougher weather than I saw, I told the water rises in plumes through the water eroded rocks that has created pressure tubes

This part of the walk had a car park and a road from the little town so there were a few people around. but with the car park in sight as I walked down to the viewing point I saw the last car parked there and manged to enjoy the sea breeze and the "petrified forest" of eroded limestone tubes naked before more visitors arrived.

One thing that amused me with these photos was the tan lines. I had travelled down the east coast of Australia at the hottest part of the year and a couple of days camping and on beaches had created a noticeable difference in my skin colour.
Not something I usually get and it was rectified quite a lot by this one walk.
A bientot

Oh those nasty tan lines! Noticed much the same as pointed out to me last summer which I attributed to too much time in the new toy (kayak) even though nude time was the same if not more. Anyway, looking toward further installments soon.

Just brilliant!
It's refreshing just reading about your ability, Mark, to be a free spirit and the positive consequences that engendered!
