Mexico, The Sea of Cortez: PartI: A Trip report
« on: November 18, 2016, 07:43:36 AM »
We went down to Mexico last week. We played on the beach. The weather was outrageous for mid-November. We had a smokin' great deal for a villa, all to ourselves. We were blessed all around.

Man, oh man,did we get blessed!

Blessings in quadruple? A deal on the villa alone then the sea, beach and a super moon thrown in the pot? that alone would make a trip report but there is more! I think I would have been on DF's side, hell with the stuff head to the beach!

Quadruple? No, no, no, much more than that. More exponential from there and then into the "I can't believe that this is really happening" realm. A near perfect storm of good fortune coming at us in Mexico.

BUT, I didn't mention that there were mechanical issues with the house. I intentionally hid from readers, that the week before leaving, I ripped up my 5th lumbar and consequently had to spend too much time under the influence of pain/inflammation meds. There was concern that I couldn't go. I was okay as long as I kept moving and allowed DF to pick up sea shells for me. I think that the three stories of stairs actually helped. Then there was having to stomach and deal with the election results. We're with the other half of the country that is highly alarmed, even distraught, that's all I'll say about that, here. It was perfect timing to get away from the media and it all began to settle like good medicine taking over at just the right time. We felt like we needed a miracle and felt like we got one. The situation helped me take stock in what is important, awareness in nature with gratitude, and health. Big house be damned, it's about location, location, location, where magic lives.

Just got to love those "perfect storm" scenarios that sweep us away with the richness of nature the time to enjoy it. As for the election, lets say I too some wise person's knowledge and have turned off social media, cable news and turned to nature as much as I can. Living in the area of the country  which is kind of the border between the rust belt and coal country there were a lot of supporters of the winning side. I've even kept above the fray which means there won't be any "I told you so!".
