Naturist holiday

Since Carole is not a naturist, I have never taken a naturist holiday, although I make the most of any opportunities that arise.

This year will be different. Carole has been on at me to go on a cruise for years and I have always fought shy as the idea of a floating holiday camp is not particularly appealing to me. However, Carole has a significant birthday this year and wanted a "special" holiday so we are booked on a cruise from Dubrovnik to Venice and then back down the Croatian coast with one stop in Montenegro. I am sure I will enjoy it, but I do not anticipate much opportunity to get my kit off.

The flip side is that Carole has decided to treat me (apparently she thinks I get her great presents and she never knows what to buy me) to a week long cruise of the Croation coast and islands; with British Naturism! Carole will not be going, but I have arranged a cabin share and am now booked. The cruise is on a small boat (just 18 cabins) and so is also far closer to my idea of how holidays should be. Am I loking forward to this? You bet!

I reckon that is about as accepting of my naturist habits as I could possibly ask for...

Wonderful! Are there ports of call? Are there anchorages on nude beaches? Is it just sitting in the lap of luxury and watching the world go by?

The boat will be in port each night (not naturist when in harbour  ) and visits beaches and bays for swimming along the islands as it travels. I don't have a detailed itinerary yet (I actually don't care too much) the very fact that Carole is not only happy for me to go but wants to give me the trip as a present speaks volumes for how much more accepting of my clothes free proclivities she has become.

I wouldn't know what would be more exciting; the holiday or the fact the wife is sending me on it. And yes, it does speak volumes for her acceptance so good for the both of you. Not quite having the same situation as you I have read elsewhere husbands lament their spouses disapproval. So enjoy both and take advantage of any free range time available.

Sorry, I've been sadly neglectful of the various forums I usually follow lately; too much working getting in the way.

Anyway, in answer to your question Duane, the first cruise (with wife and clothes ) is at the beginning of June. The second (No clothes but no wife either )is the first week in October.

And John, you're not wrong! Sometimes I forget to tell her that, but I never lose sight of just how amazing she can be.

PS Had to buy a new swimming costume for the first cruise; my other ones have disintegrated through lack of use.

There's an irony here that you may not appreciate: I work for a company that manufactures very high-intensity UV lighting systems (used to accelerate curing, mainly in the print industry). Sadly, I doubt whether they will accept the argument that UV destroys my clothes as sufficient reason to allow me to work naked.

My comment was rather tongue in cheek. The UV intensity is typically 1 to 10 million times the naturally occurring maximum sunlight levels. There is a tale of a printer who was having problems running a press and decided the issue was with the safety circuit, so he shorted out all the emergency stop interlocks. However, he neglected to tell anyone (probably because he'd have been sacked on the spot for tampering with the safety systems) and when a maintenance fitter lifted a floor panel to change a lamp that was at maximum hours the system did not cut out. The story goes that the maintenance guy got the floor panel about a foot open before screaming and dropping it. By that time he had full thickness burns to both arms and had such bad arc eye that he was blind for several weeks. The story may be apocryphal but it has the ring of truth about it. I first heard it while working for a printing company before I joined my current employer.

Particularly as you probably work in an office lit by nothing more intense than fluorescent lights! It might be a good try, though!
