It's hard to know what an "excursion" is! We certainly got some nude time in Wales, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. If we count "days when freerange nudity occurred" then it was 3 in Wales, 1 in Switzerland, and 7 in Austria. In Germany we just visited outdoor nude swimming locations, on 3 separate days, plus one factory-farmed place. Do we really have to call the municipal nude beaches in Munich "factory farmed" too?

I would say not. A factory farm facility would be one designed in a specific way for a specific group. A public beach is intended for the public. You don’t know who is going to show up.

The only thing designed about that would be the generally accepted rules of behavior. To me a factory farm operation is intended to provide a shield from those not inclined to participate or witness nudity of any stripe.

My version is that "Factory Farmed Nudity" is intended to allow the nudist participating to be as private from the rest of the world as they are in their own bathroom.

I've just posted the next round of photographs from this excursion, under "Trip Reports".
