I think Jbee might be right. The old landed club based model is probably getting senile but younger people are finding new ways to express their naturism. I recall a flurry of press a few years ago about young people getting naked on mountain tops, for instance. We don't hear much about it because its not organised, doesn't have a point to make and is quite widely distributed and perhaps more spontaneous. The one organised and publicised naturist phenomenon of recent years is naked bike rides through cities. That's a completely separate thing from FKK type naturism. Many naked bike riders are naked because it is the way to participate and to raise money rather than being naturists who classify themselves as naturists.
Then there's the increasing incidence of 'nudie' programmes on TV (Naked Attraction, Naked and Afraid, Naked Beach, Life Stripped Bare to name just a few of many) which indicate there is an arising new and tolerant attitude amongst the media to nudity albeit that its real ethos is to sell TV by voyeurism and mild titillation. I fervently hope that new generations of naturists are arising and evolving and will find ways of expressing that which maybe us old codgers never even dreamed or thought of.
