A short video with an introduction explaining "naturism." Redington Pass last monsoon, when we returned from our journey back east.

What causes the brown color of the water and rocks, Jbee? Is there a lot of iron in the rock? That usually causes brown colours. Or is it caused by organic material?

The tannin from the forests of the mountains cause that coloring all over Arizona. Harmless. Looks like BEER.

Ohhhh...Amazing. Tannin. The forests must be huge to deposit colour into the huge volume of flowing water.
Is there a scent (or bad smell!!) to it?

In West Virginia USA there is a state park named Blackwater Falls for the same reason. The water is tinted from fallen hemlock and red spruce needles releasing tannic acid.
