Eight years and Graditude
« on: July 19, 2023, 06:31:28 AM »
Another year has passed. This week marks the eigth anniversary of "TheFreeRangeNaturist.org. I did a celebratory post there with some announcement of changes.

https://thefreerangenaturist.org/2023/07/19/eight-years-of-the-free-range-naturist/

I'll mention what I haven't mentioned about the website here, while we were away in the mountains:

Now, caught up, I'd like to make a special note of gratitude to KARLA and STUART for the safe harbor that was given about the same time, eight years ago and their continued hosting, through...us...and the ebb and flow. I have received so much from this forum...friends, fun, knowledge, help, support, on and on...

...THANK-YOU!

Jbee

Well, gosh is it really 8 years since you started the web blog.  I have remarked before on what a wonderful archive of naturist living it has become.  What an achievement.  You have not only my congrats but my admiration of your productivity and staying power.  So many people and groups have started blogs or podcasts, resolved to be the voice of X or y but after a few months of posting have faded away.  Not so you, jbee!  You are made of sterner and more resilient stuff!
So if you want to prioritise other stuff and post less, then do so!  It is your choice.  However, don't stop posting altogether.  May be you will blog into ripe old age and we followers will continue to appreciate it and compare our experiences to those of yours, drenched in the desert sunshine.

And as a matter of fact, every time you attach a new blog post here, which I assume is all of them, I have read it!  So maybe I'm your most avid follower!  I don't post on your site, it's enough to keep up with the chat here.  I respond here to your blog posts as you know.
I guess I should also recognise the substantial output elsewhere of Bob Greenbare Woods and JMF, whose output is also substantial and long lived.
Finally I echo and reiterate your thanks to Stuart and Karla for their now 8 years of generosity in hosting our ongoing conversations.  It's a shame that we hear so little from them and that their output on the site is so sparse these days.  Let's hear from you Stuart and Karla!!  Thank you both so much.
John

I will express that I am really glad that this forum is here. I had used Earth Naturists Forum earlier, it wasn't so active, the original owner faced difficulties including legal and dropped activities online, and ownership went to another, but hardly any were using it then. It is no longer around, online. There is other nudist naturist communication online still, I find most of it on MeWe, but some good communication that includes nudism elsewhere too.
