A great deal of their clientele was were Canadians. Many just lived there, a nude home. It was a beautiful place. They talked to us about selling when we visited.
I think that there is a socially nude thing desirable even in Vermont.
No matter where you roam there is something about a like minded community, friends, activities together. Free ranging doesn't always provide this community. So like paying a country club, you pay for like minded associations, not just to be nude with others. Nude while dancing, playing music, volleyball, swimming, cocktails, going out of the house for entertainment are difficult in a free range world, even a legally nude places like Vermont.
We chip in for the hot springs and there is a set group to bond with, and we are more like minded. Nudity is an after thought for many after the springs and during, we gather and do other things. Our pooled money gets us the springs. It isn't play for pay, but community co-op in that instance. Somebody has to organize it.
It isn't always comfortable to be the only one, or ones nude in public. It is unusual and at a nude place, everyone accepts you as you are...naked.
If it were legal, there would still be pay for play. Kinda like golf that way.
