Sometimes there are events at resorts. The heated pool, the social aspect, the sauna, volley ball and certainly hot tub, make for a very nice day. There is also, that unhindered sense of freedom, to stop into the office, the restaurant, bar, shop, and wander, without any negatives, totally accepted in skin, comfortably nude in public.
We like to wander off of property and this is better at some resorts rather than others. We often get a room at resorts, which is less hassle and packing when we want to make the most of the presented activities.
On the other hand, mood may go toward, our well documented freerange camping, which isn't in a lakeside location with lots of stealth variables. Stealth enhances fun and not. It depends on mood, duration, etc.
Where we camp is nearly always free with no one close by. It is only occasionally a social event. We are not adverse to social.
So, it depends on what we are in the mood for. A Nudestock or a Naturist Society gathering is a lot of wonderful entertainment, naked.
$30 per day for use of facilities racks up. A multiple day discount would make sense to me.
