What's everyone doing for the Easter weekend?
« on: April 05, 2017, 11:51:00 AM »
I'm going up to Pacific Sun Friends on Sunday to join in the festivities and also do some jamming with a few girl musos that I'm putting a band together with.

Sounds like you've planned a fun weekend Dario.   South East Queensland is a little far for me to join you.

Nothing naturist - I have canal society public events and a visiting teenage grandson.

Most holidays such as Easter and Christmas are family oriented so nudity will be minimal at best. I would hope that Easter ushers in a change in the weather and a turn toward spring and summer.

Still waiting on confirmation. I hope to have some friends over to help set the benches in the sweat and then sweat. The seating needs to raised, and I'm using heavy concrete structures.

I hope that our Mr. Western continues with his band and enthusiasm. We need youth to pick up on this and music has always been key to youth revolution.

Public holidays in the UK are bad for naturism, unless its in a CO club, I guess, because everyone gets out and about in the countryside, particularly if its warm weather, and the kids are on holiday and hanging about everywhere.  A wet Wednesday in October is a good time for getting alone in the great outdoors!

Since retirement I've found that midweek the countryside is empty of everyone. Saturdays bring out a smattering of folk (mostly they're at the shops or the watching TV sport, I suspect) and Sunday's the rural areas are awash with almost coach parties of walkers! Standing naked on a breezy hilltop with nothing and no one for miles is unbeatable.

With so many of the resorts in the area providing excursions for their patrons, into the desert, it is hard to find a spot not busy with hikers, bikers, picnickers and other active customers getting a respite from the noisy strip environment.

I guess I can't blame them for that. It has caused me to cross a favorite spot off my list of CO hiking venues.

Middle of the week, Tue, Wed & Thur seem to work the best for me also.

We are not trying anything adventurous this Easter.  I've got a number of gardening jobs to do so if the sun shines (forecast not too good though) I'll be as nature intended.
Beyond Easter, the remaining time in April is choc a bloc but post holiday, I have been jealously guarding the summer this year so that there will be some opportunity to try and find a location where, like Peter, I might be able to be "Standing naked on a breezy hilltop with nothing and no one for miles is unbeatable"

Whilst I posted a pic of the rather depressingly flat countryside a week or two ago, it has it's advantages in that you can see what's coming for miles and that everyone else is only really at eye height so if you are in the lee of a hedge or similar, it provides good cover.
So, whereas it has tended to put me off in recent months one has to be positive or one would never get out naked in nature so I may try FRN i.e. "Flat Range" Naturism very soon. :)

I don't have anything serious planned for this coming weekend.  Our weather is predicted to be partly sunny and mid 50s (10C) so I may get outside a couple of times.  May mow the lawn.

We have a significant yard project underway.

I'll be carrying, shoving, shifting and leveling large slabs of quartzite for our entryway.
Ooofff! it'll be a great workout.

No naked plans beyond the home, too many people out and about and getting in the way of such enjoyment. But once they're all back to school and back to work ...
