"For those of us in Europe, Dewey is on the way to Prescott, Arizona. It is a former mining town. Prescott Valley became a suburb of Prescott, a former state capital and cute historic place. Great nightlife and culture. Prescott is becoming a suburb of Prescott Valley, as the idea caught on. Dewey is now a satellite of that, not yet overrun by tract houses and big box stores. It has a nice rural feel and I suspect slightly warmer than Prescott. It isn't such a long drive to the amenities and mass culture of northern Phoenix sprawl. Shangala Naturist resort is now on the northern end of that. It sounds like a good choice with a Prius. There is a lot of diversity around there. The Verde River area, cool pines, water, and desert Phoenix, choose your season. There is even some Tucson-esque Sonoran Desert around New River to thaw out in. It is probably an up and coming real-estate boom."

Ken: Our land looks closely out on the Bradshaw Mountains. with the trail head and freehiking only 5 minutes away. Pinon pine and related brush sparsely cover the hills. Our land is thickly covered with shrub oak, mountain mahogany, buck brush, skunk brush, pinion pine, etc.
