New from Pennsylvania
« on: June 03, 2016, 11:10:40 PM »
Hi! Glad to see open minded folks out there!

I'm actually more of a closet naturalist, as my residential people probably wouldn't be as open to it as i read here. Not to mention, the police are bored and would certainly fuss.
So, i stick to indoors and mostly venture out in the yard late at night. Pretty silly,  feeling imprisoned like that. But i can't afford citations.

Anyway,  glad to be here and looking forward to contribute and learn!

A naturalist is a person with a love of nature and all that lives in it. Plants, animals and the landscape.  :)
A naturist is someone who could be a naturalist, but does their perambulating with no clothes on.  ;D

All of us here are naturists and some may be naturalists.
You can be either or both and be welcome here!  :D

Do please get the name of what we're doing right! It is part of the name of this board, if you get confused.

Pennsylvania doesn't have a good reputation as far as tolerance of nudity is concerned, but the Naturist Society will be holding its Eastern Naturist Gathering later this month--and it's in Pennsylvania! (But it'll be in a private location.) You should consider attending, if you possibly can.

Welcome aboard. However you spell it we all know why we're here, and predictive text spellchecking can catch any of us unawares. Foa long time I was, like you, confined to the closet, and even now I don't get the naked opportunities I'd like, but being prepared and taking opportunity helps - and if you wander through our back catalogue you'll find lots of experiences to help you.

I have spent much of my naturist career being more confined than liberated.  Since discovering the Secret Naturists about a decade ago and being liberated by their example into realising that I was indeed a naturist and wanted to be naked much of the time, it has been a constant search and struggle to find safe, solitary time in nature and having to put up with corners of my garden and house to be naked in most of the time.

My shout is -keep at it, you will find places and opportunities.  Another secret is to always keep the 'radar' on for unexpected opportunities to be naked.  Some of those are often the scariest but often the sweetest!  Mind you, I'd more strongly advise careful reconnoitring and checking of potential nude locations before you disrobe!

You also, as you become more relaxed (you will!), will become less worried about taking a chance and more opportunities will present themselves as a result of your no longer limiting the opportunities. It's a natural reinforcement.

My fortune cookie at the Chinese restaurant tonight read, "Continue to take chances, you'll be glad you did!". Welcome here and soon you willbcome to the conclusion we all have; that closets are for clothes.

Welcome to Free Range Naturism.
Do read the various topics for ideas about how and when to enjoy the freedom, but in the meantime, if you would like to fill in your profile a little and make a few more posts so that we have an idea of your local environment we may be able to make some constructive suggestions.

In the meantime enjoy the air on your skin.

Hello CN11211

Does that mean Code Name one one two one one?

Doesn't matter . . . I though of a Star Trek NG episode when I saw your Alias.

If I could start over, I would have started my naturism in my high school years. Those were the days of curiosity and exploration, but I was extremely timid and absolutely reticent about nudity. Give it time, be cautious but don't feel ashamed of your desire to be nude or of any time you get in your backyard. We were all born nude.

Welcome,

Alf

Ahh yes, the Binars episode, the people who did all communication in binary.
