Enjoying Our Place
« on: July 02, 2016, 03:05:07 PM »
“Friday. July 1, 2016, Amy and I spent the morning enjoying our land.  She sunbathed in the garden area, while I raked the path, planted a trail sign, and replaced several boards on a fence (all nude of course).  Then we freehiked to the bottom of the hill where we meditated on a large rock, took in the wonderful scenery, and I enjoyed watching a Pompilid wasp catch a spider, and a fuzzy white Mutillid wasp.  The breeze felt so nice on our bare skin!  It was wonderfully refreshing morning.  A few more months and the house will be built so we can enjoy this wonderful spot every day.

On the camping/hiking weekend we just had Jbee, DF and I visited Ken & Amy's future home site. I can assure everyone that they would enjoy the garden and trails that they have built on the property just as much as we did.

Ken & Amy enthusiastically walked us through the trails and described where the future home will be and what their plans are.

His descriptions here about what the trail is and how it looks do not do justice to what I saw. Seeing it is the best way to know what he has done.

Thumbs up!

Extremely understated! Ken has taken an impenetrable hill of scratchy thick shoulder high vegetation and carved a wonderful system of trail and stealth. Not just trail, but rock lined and smoothly sorted as to invite barefooting, protection from any snakes, clear delineation and everywhere a pleasant view of the neighbors and region for miles. The troublesome vegetation has been used to form a shoulder high visual screen, so it is as effective as a privacy fence. We could be seen nearly all around, but no one could see us enough to be offended. It is cozy, meditative, peaceful and inviting.

We all forgot our cameras...and the rest were left at the gate, so pics are in the hands of Ken. It is beyond words to properly describe. We had fun.

I will not comment on lack of visuals as there is enough guilt on this side of the keyboard for lack of a camera.
