Five inches! That is what we call a blizzard! I fail to recollect the blizzard of "89. It is too many years to sort out. There was a snow of that depth Christmas eve 1990 or 91 that I remember. The Interstate between Tucson and Sierra Vista was closed and my freshly minted exwife was threatening to sue me for keeping our son from her, as if I was keeping him from her on purpose, so I remember that trauma associated with it. I remember swimming at my parents house on Christmas day another year around 1969. Roll the dice here during winter. The thing is, moister from the sky only happens for a day or so and then it is blue skies. This has been an unusual duration. Still, I'd rather be cold here than frozen like other places. It has been a tease, but there has been a hope for normalcy when it is so close.
