I'd love to see that one. I used to hang with Thorogood and the crew. I had the manager and sax in my living-room one evening and my to be first ex-wife stopped in. She went on about how Thorogood band sucked, while  we each looked at each other, trying not to laugh. When I introduced my friends, her expression was priceless.

we spent last weekend down in deepest cornwall, though dry and sometimes sunny there was a chill breeze most of the time. anyway on the saturday afternoon we stumbled accross the merry maidens, a stone circle in a grass field, we walked barefoot accross the field then stopped in the circle on the way back , chattering about ley lines and earth energies etc as you do.  suddenly i realised that at the spot i was standing near the centre of the circle the grass didnt feel cold under my feet, a shuffle to the side or forward or back and it was back to chilly grasss but this one spot, just big enough for 2 feet,  felt almost warm, it didnt look any different from anywhere else , still the same grass.... wierd, spooky or what.

someones bound to ask ... the stones are about waist high.... and yes half a bottle of red wine with dinner the evening before.

Wish you had pictures! No not weird or spooky and the wine from the evening before had plenty of time to wear off! You were fortunate enough to find an earth spot I'm sure. Much like finding that warm spot in a cold lake, or about the same odds, if you were not barefoot you would have never noticed. Good for you and soak up that energy!

Never heard if the Merry Maidens before. Thanks. I guess there are ancient sites all over the place.
Cool sites in old Britain!

Better than a warm spot in a swimming pool!  ;D
Yeah, nudewalker, I know what you mean. I've experienced those. When I was younger I used to dive down near the bottom of the lake and it was strange to find those at the bottom. In the summer it was normal to have warm water at the top, not the bottom.
