De Anza: Four Days and a Thousand Miles
« on: September 22, 2017, 07:33:43 PM »
DF's first multi-day trip to a naturist resort and first step of a change in our photo policy at the website. I have collected several De Anza trip stories. I'm going to post them frequently over the next couple of months. Lots of photos in the rock formations.

Lots of nice rocks.  Looks like a wonderful wilderness hike.

Two things stand out for me from that log.
Firstly, the introduction of DF to the wonderful experience of everyday 24/7 living without clothing - someting I enjoy at the French resorts we visit.
Secondly the absolutely beautidul picture of DF's silhouette and rocks in the third picture. I don't know which is the more exquisite.

DF is not beyond being flattered, I'm sure that she will appreciate your remark when she sees it. She was concerned about destroying the illusion by placing her face on the site. We have gotten comments from around the world from guys who see her as gorgeous and no telling what they may be projecting onto her mysterious never seen face. We thought that it should be more authentic to come out of the closet. I have been tried by the fact that we have been promoting body freedom, yet operating with a constraint, as if the constraint is legitimate. She approves now of her face showing, if it looks good (she often takes a misrepresented bad picture) and that the pic is of a context that is wholesome and obviously naturist, that can't be illegally re-posted as anything else but a responsible moral naturist, clothing optional promotion, if some jerkoff gets rude. We now have a respectable naturist site that can be seen as nothing different than that. It is safe to post there. She has gotten a couple of approvals from readers already. When my puss starts getting put out next week, I doubt that I'll get such a warm response... ;) ??? :-\

I remember the Muslim women bathing in the river and happened upon. They hid their faces behind veils first, leaving the rest exposed. It is all just so silly.

There are many beautiful pics that I will be posting in the coming couple of months from De Anza. The landscape and her natural features have really jived at times and I get those lucky snaps.

Jbee, I think I may have to rethink my bucket list.  There have been many pictures of the train posted but can honestly say nothing pictured like the rock formations that you have shown. And the story that came with those pictures has made me want to move it closer to the top of things I need to do in the near future.  All that plus featuring DF nymph like in natures playground. Well done and looking for more!

Is that a new post Jbee or did you post it on TSNS?  I couldn't decide if I remember any of it or not!! :D  On balance I think I don't!

So the change in policy is to stop hiding your faces...dang! :(  I need to reconsider my policy.  See posts Re: Dispiriting incident with a member here and I quote myself:

Like JBee and DF and a fair few others, I have always been very wary of showing my face in any pics I post here.  I promised myself that when I retired I would 'come out' and be bold brave and not mind people seeing/knowing I am a naturist - like Ian, JOhngw and others.  Those that don't hide under a bushel don't seem to have suffered in any way for their boldness.  But nevertheless when retirement arrived, there were as many people that might react badly in my life as before.  At least I won't lose any jobs or clients nowadays but socially it could be hard.  So I remain 'faceless'.

None of the re-posts are like the originals. I had though that it would be easy to just re-post them and take little time and effort. Since taking the time to put the site together, looking at professional display as something necessary, desire to keep it there for posterity, personal desire to entertain and be taken seriously, finding that my writing has improved, they get much rework. The format is better and I can place multiple photos and photos I have, for clarity and the appeal of the unusual beauty of our habitat. More photos, doctored photos, better writing, etc. They are a completely different critter.

This post is totally different and new, because I split it up and combined it with others. I think that 7 or 8 of the pics had been on TSNS. The ones following are totally new written content and mostly photos that I haven't shown. Some you may remember.

Hence the evanescent quality of my memory - it wasn't there!

I have no idea how many proper (i.e. people not bots) hits you get on your blog (it deserves many) but the trouble taken to arrange and prepare them alone makes them worthy of reading.  Good for you, Jbee.  I hope distant posterity is kind to your content.  Something most of us here, mostly being of a similar age to you, will not experience!

That sparks a thought!  Whilst I have little care myself for posterity as, when it boils down to it, I have nothing particularly worthwhile or posterityworthy to leave the world and so, when the grim reaper grimly reaps me, I shall be unafraid and quite willing to leave.  After that my own Pascal's Wager is that oblivion is our lot.  8)  However, one thing maybe I'd like to come back to this mortal coil to see, 20, 50 or 100 years after my demise is what shreds of my online existence still exist!  I have a website, facebook a/c, cloud drive data etcetcetc.  Will any of that survive?  I doubt it :( .  However it would be a hoot if I could still google myself in 2117!  ;D ;D

Nice pictures, JBG. And I'm happy to see a slight lifting of the veil of secrecy! Your lovely self next?

But I also saw the comment from Don. That's the world we live in.

Yea, I let that comment through and then remembered what MILF means. I suppose that I should delete it. I don't ant anyone to get the wrong idea about the website's purpose. Some other of these kinds of comments have popped up recently after his comment was posted. Not everyone understands naturist values no matter what you present to them. It is a small percentage, I'm supposing and lustful thoughts will occur to a large percentage naturally and occasionally, but comments like that are not welcome. It wouldn't wash around a lady in the flesh. It is rude, but flattering that they find her attractive. I have presented her in her best light. I may email each one of them back to gently explain.

How far away from the camping area are you when hiking out the rocks?

The scenery is compelling and the idea of freely roaming around in a camping area without the irritation of clothes is why I am still going to make it there sooner or later.

400 miles is a about an eight hour drive for me. A round trip not quite a 1000!

I’ve read articles about different cultures have varying taboos about what a woman isn’t supposed to reveal. Ankles, navel etc. etc. Many cultures, too many different prohibitions.

On that spark, John how about another! Our DNA is made up of mostly junk, although some believe that it isn’t worthless. Remove any of it and we cease being a human. All that time and all those DNA splices later and a good bit of odd parts and bits are still floating round.

So a digital equivalent of the DNA code just might survive. Given a computer of the stature of say, Deep Thought and maybe you could locate all those bits that remain out there in fragments on scattered hard drives.

A special event there is worth the time. Next week, I think I'll be posting some of the best of the rock formation fun and there is much more to be had. It is a large property, but not much of a walk to wonderful natural beauty and bigass rocks, then they keep coming for miles and miles. Just an after dinner stroll from the clubhouse to the base of the mountain (next weeks post is up the mountain)..

We take interstate at 80 mph all the way, 5 or 6 hours. We time it so that we have time to relax in pool and jaccuzzi and maybe a sundown hike someplace. We prefer to go during special events, with bands playing in the evening, more people, all the other entertainment. Make a week of it, do a day in San Diego, relax, we have never liked leaving and especially putting clothes on after experiencing the freedom.
