Italian fines for swim suits at beach. Real or fake?
« on: December 01, 2017, 08:11:14 PM »
I see this report.  Has anyone seen it elsewhere?

Italian Girls Fined $3,500 each for Wearing Swimsuits Near Muslims on Italian Beach

The encroachment of Sharia Law continues virtually unchecked or, as in this case, aided by a complicit Italian court. It appears that when one goes to the beach in Italy, it is wise to pack a complete wardrobe containing other country beach attire and then conduct a survey of those on the beach to determine the lowest common denominator of flesh to be exposed in order to avoid offending foreigners; Especially rich ones who consider themselves superior to women and the local population in general.-

If it's real it looks like some random rich prude exercising their financial muscle - it could be someone of any religion.

Looking at the rest of the news that these two media outlets present, it looks like a grocery store checkout rack. $3500 each is a very hefty fine, which I find hard to believe. We are given two model's photos, not the accused. The second source's next story is about some Arab guy who got caught giving a blow job to a camel. Yea, fake or extremely unreliable news.

I'm wondering why it says that I can't see the video in my country. I'm not aware of censorship and would be upset about it. Then, I wonder why there are no comments posted?

This is about certain conservative religions shoving their religious crap down my throat. They are often aligned with Muslim's anti-body beliefs and are a threat to me more than the burka creeps, but all I hear about are trumped up anti-muslim stories. They need to keep their hands, their laws and disdain of me, off of my body freedoms...any religion. This is supposed to be a free country.

I welcome any religion that doesn't want to impose itself on mine. Otherwise, you don't have to go home, but don't stay here.

This is more accurately about the bigots of any religion trying to force their bigotry on everybody else.
My experience of the many muslims that I worked with is that they are at least as tolerant as any other religion and this includes at least one extremely devout muslim who worked for me.

Frankly I doubt the authenticity of this story.

See here , here  and here just for starters.

If it is in fact true these other sights make me seriously question the story. This sort of false reporting creates mistrust and hate. I'm not a Muslim and I hate  the members of any religion trying to impose their dogma on me, but I don't deny them the right to practice their faith provided it doesn't adversely effect me.  I've worked with Muslims both professionally and in the voluntary sector and had little trouble. In fact in one job I had it was the minority white British that caused me more problems. The only time I had a minor problem was finding a guy prostrate on the floor saying his prayers in my office working space. I told him to go as his actions were impairing my ability to work. He did go without any problems.

We need to check this sort of story out before giving credibility to nonsense

Thank-you, for a better economized and succinct sentence instead of my many sentences and sloppy paragraph.

“Tolerance” is different than “acceptance.” I may be seen as less tolerant than some of those involved in some religions that have a cultural quirk that diminishes women, their bodies, their inner and outer stature, their humanity and flexibility to expand out of expected roles. Our stance on nudity, body freedom, and choice, is a part of these issues and in some ways a cure for such “ills”...

…or should I say differences?...

…or abuses?

The only thing  can add is that I used the word "tolerance" because "acceptance" would be extremely difficult for anybody who was a serious devotee of a religion which does not preach body acceptance. Such people would find that impossible, but I have experienced tolerance in such people from non-Christian religions.
Oddly enough I can't recall such tolerance from Christians from the less mainstream sects.

Well, glad it appeared to be a fake news article.  However, it would appear that such pernicious material is becoming ever more common in this age where broadcasting of nasty* opinions is becoming ever easier, wider ranging and cheaper along with the photo tools to make your propagandist tale look convincing.

It makes one wonder what the perpetrator was aiming at.  Was it in fact to reinforce and support the Islamic dress customs?  Or was it the opposite by making readers feel as though the presumed Muslim persons that brought the case appear to be forcing bigotry on another society?  Is it supposed to work for or against the customs of some of the followers of Islam?  Was it deprecating beachwear?  Not only is it fake news but confusing fake news. I too have worked and lived in some of UK's most multicultural societies around London and in the bigger cities and like Davie and JOhn, I have found that the bigotry, prejudice or misanthropy to other groups lives in an individual or a group, not in a belief system (with a very few exceptions) or in the majority of adherents to that belief system.  My personal observation (based, I would be the first to admit, on the unstable platform of variable and in some cases very low levels of knowledge or lack thereof) is that the principles of most belief systems are the same and are the basis of being good** people and good societies - they seem to vary a bit only at the refined philosophical end and the day to day practices.

Many people are sheeple.   Just follow the leader,   believe and do what yer told without question.   Many religions expect that of their members.  And that very expectation is a sign of false teachings.  They are afraid if the members know too much they will apostatize.   I grew up in a religion and with a mother who taught open minded thinking.     Consider every aspect,   do therough research and decide what is truth based on weight of evidence.    Dont jump to conclusions,  hold doubtful things in neutral until all the evidence is brought to the table and analyzed.    A proper scientific approach.

But that approach over the course of 50 years has had interesting results.   I could make a few statements.   Like,   "You cant tell me there aint no God,   I seen too much proof to the contrary"  If all the evidence were laid out on a table and compared,  there would be no contest to any logical scientific mind.  One little point among a great many is the polonium halos in granit.   Another is the ancient egyptian war chariat debri scattered across the sea floor just where the isrealites would have crossed under Moses leadership.  Theres oodles of stuff to consider. Especially those ancient prophecies in the old book of Daniel.   Compare them with history of the next 2500 years.   Perfect match.  But they point out mainline christianity as culprit for most of the worlds evil.   Wow,   no wonder mainline christianity refuses to look at it seriously.  Our Creator is very much alive and in control of our world.   But he has an enemy as well,   and the situation is such that He has to give the enemy a long enough rope to hang himself.   Anyone tries to tell me different.   Id have to claim "you just havent seen and considered all the evidence yet, yer looking at a one sided view"

A common argument against God is:  I wouldnt belive in a god who would be so cruel as to torture people forever.
I agree.   Thats a bad corrupted teaching.   It comes out of old pagan traditions.   Invented by rulers to control their people with fear. And miantained by "christians" against logic and very plain statements in the Bible saying otherwise.   The system of justice laid out in the Bible is very logical,   very fair,   and very merciful.  It tells of a time when all evil is eliminated,   every purpretrator of evil has met their just punishment and been permantly eliminated.  Then this world restored to perfection and given to those of us who were found worthy,  that is they demonstrated willingness to live in harmony with the laws of life.  It would be really stupid of anyone to take any chance of missing out on that oppurtunity.   It is just too good to miss.

And. "You cant tell me nakedness is wrong,  Ive seen too much proof that its good,  honerable,   and innocent"
Again,   anyone crying foul on that one hasnt bothered to look through all the evidence yet.

But the research didnt stop there.   I can claim the whole medical system is a fraud when it comes to cancer.   They make too much money from it to want to cure it.

The whole system of power by burning fuel became outdated almost before the IC engine got going good.    But oil men put a stop to energy technology advancement right where it made them the most money,  and theyve been stopping it behind the scenes ever since.   Secret assanation of inventors is not uncommon.   If serious death threats dont silence them.   Keeping the populace ignorant slaves to oil makes them their wealth. Its polution being the byproduct of their greed.

Then theres the whole system of agriculture.   Its a royal mess.  Wonder why disease and birth defects are getting bad?  Thats why.   Toxic chemicals in your food.   And really poor food quality.   What is called good quality is very medeocre.   I have to fix that for myself,  grow my own.

Which brings us back to the drug companies.   Disease,   illness,   is what makes them rich.   Healthy people dont need pills.    So its to their advantage to keep us sick.     The key to real health?  Eat what God gave Adam and Eve to eat,  in the same environment and  condition they ate it.  And grow it ourselves,   nutrient dense with rich natural mineral feed to the plants.
The more i dig into what man has done,   the more corruption i run into.   But the more i dig into the natural world.   The more perfection and beauty I find.   Except for the corruption that has intruded into the natural world.   I find that what makes plants healthy,   and their product taste good,  is the same that makes us healthy who were designed to eat those plant products. Unaltered from the plant. Heating kills the life.   And life imparts life.

Overall,   I find the truth in that book,   the bible.  By logic,   by extensive research,  and by scientific analysis.   But the religions of the world.  99% of Christianity included,   are a mess of false teachings,   corruption and evil,   confusion.   Babylon is how the bible puts it.   Using the name as a symbol of the whole mass of confusion.   Much of it claims the bible as thier guide.   Yah right!  Tradition is really their guide.   They read the bible and warp it to fit tradition.   Seem blind to what they do.
For example,   most of the christian world does their churchin on Sunday.   Why?     Because the pagans worshiped the sun on Sunday.   And christianity converted to paganism some 1500-1700 years ago,   and remains converted to it.
Our Creator commanded 7th day observance in recognition and honor of him as our creator.   No change ever mentioned.   Except as done by an apostate power.

The garden of eden is where the Creator started things off,   our first grandparents nude in a tropical garden.   He invented naturism,   who are we to forbid it?

Yes, the big monotheistic religions are all about domination and control.  They've been preaching "sin" and "putting clothes on the natives" since they began.  Clothing is a control mechanism, it teaches obedience and shame.  All the major religions do it.

Haha!  Brilliant term, Reuben.  Never heard it before, but it's SO true. Pressure to conform to some sort of society norm is all too prevalent.  Let individuality reign!

I personally don't like the term. People should learn a little more about sheep first. And then there are goats, too.

Get the flock outta here! Ar you saying that the term "sheeple" actually insults sheep! ;D I don't know sheep, just their reputation. ;) You are saying that sheeple gets a sheep's goat? ::)

People love  to talk about freedom, individuality and free speech, until they witness the aforementioned in an uneasy encounter. Then, all of a sudden it's all about "something should be done about . . . ."

There are responsibilities attached to freedoms.
