Hotel Pool FRN
« on: January 02, 2018, 06:00:20 PM »
I have started this topic prompted by this comment by Nudewalker in the "How was your month" topic.
So the only highlight in December was a hotel stay where I was able to use the pool and hot tub nude. But even at that time in the tub had to be limited.
We stayed in a hotel for three nights over the New Year and on all three mornings I managed a skinny-dip in the hotel's pool varying in length from half to three quarters of an hour. On the last morning a member of the domestic staff came into the pool area while I was swimming and was cleaning the men's changing room when I entered it naked after my swim. Nothing was said about my nudity at the time or when I checked out several hours later.

About to dive in.

Good for you John. I have found that during the more "family" holidays that hotels are not only less populated but also less staffed. Our stay over Christmas came with a notice that if extra towels or linens were needed please contact the desk by 9;00 AM on the 25th.  It was a shame that hot tub time had to be limited due to the last medical issue but hope that passes soon.

You were skinny-dipping on the monitor watched by whoever, anyone who was in the lobby, for 30 to 45 minutes on three occasions AND nobody seemed to notice...or object!

Poor security, or naked is okay....

Amazing!

I have observed that no one notices unless children are in the pool area. Then hotel staff will see to it that all minors are accounted for and there is adult supervision. As for nudity, it seems that as long as no one objects then hotel staff turn the other way. One place we frequent is a haven for business people and a lot of time European so there is a bit of a casual attitude. Just like every other situation one has to be able to judge the situation.

The picture quality on the lobby monitor is B&W and so poor that it would be difficult to see that I was naked in the brief times I was visible out of the water and nobody could tell while I was swimming. We were the first ones down to breakfast an hour after my swim and I'm convinced the staff never even glance at the monitor screen.
The lady cleaning the changing room definitely saw that I was naked although I didn't flaunt myself in front of her and in any case they aren't going to offend a £700 ($1,000) customer who isn't offending their other customers.

I have extensive experience of discreet skinny-dipping in UK and European hotel pools and never had any problems.

Nice pool as well!  You are pretty fearless, JOhn, at the worst of times.  I wish I had your balls*.
