When I lived in Michigan, a teenager, in early April, we would be standing on snow, waiting for a bus, the temperatures freezing as we did our dance to stay warm. The snow made the bus late.
The radio would start a "Think Summer" campaign. We'd be desperate enough to try to adjust the cold with communal thought, but we'd only adjust our frustration, float off to fantasy, forget the current awareness, or melt into some kind of prayer...indoors.
Age makes time go quicker and so it goes, but then they retire in Florida, or some western sunbelt station and the gift is not used.
We are now getting unseasonable highs here. The second and third weekends of April are planned for tripping about naked in the tooleys, trip reports and enjoying blessings. May you soon be pleasantly standing naked and soaking up your own blessings.
