Hello From Tucson Arizona
« on: July 15, 2018, 05:44:06 AM »
Hello All,
AZ_Nudist here in Tucson Arizona, also known as L&C Tucson along with my girlfriend CB . I have been a nudist/naturalist most of my life, visiting Blacks Beach in La Jolla California since the early 80’s. A very close friend of mine lived in El Cajon for many years, and my younger sister resided in Oceanside, we still visit the area regularly.
We enjoy hiking nude in the mountains around Tucson, Redington is our favorite. It’s a moderate hike, not too strenuous, in an hour or so you can be deep in the canyon enjoying the stream and pools from the mountain springs and snow run off early in the year. During the monsoons, the water flow can be irregular and dangerous, many hikers have been injured and some have perished in the canyon.
I am very fortunate to have met CB in 2006, found her to be a very adventurist and fun-loving woman from the time we first met, but not a nudist at the time. We both ride Harleys, enjoy exploring this great land on the two lane back roads and hiking trails when we can get away for a few days or longer.
In 2013, we road Route 66 across the country, wound our way down through the Blue Ridge/Smoky Mountains and spent two weeks in Florida, spending several days in Key West, Miami, then Daytona. While in Miami we visited Haulover beach, a beautiful stretch of clothing optional beach, an easy walk from the parking lot. This was CB’s first time on a nude beach, it did not take long to put her inhibitions aside, and she has been hooked ever since.
I am also working on my personal Garden of Eden in midtown Tucson, at the time it is fairly private if we are quiet and do not draw the attention of our neighbors, we are working on more foliage at time. We also enjoy visiting the clothing optional resorts in the Southwestern deserts, but much rather be hiking the trails au natural.
Well, that’s if for now!

Wow,
Hi Les..
Not often we get such an open and detailed first introduction here.  Welcome.
I trust as a long serving and frequent naturist you'll post some of your experiences in our forum.  Read around the years of posts here and you will find us a very friendly, open minded and hopefully interesting bunch to chat with.
As is the way with middle aged and older naturists we have a high proportion of males, so a few words occasionally from CB would be welcome to redress the gender balance a bit.  There are 'ladies' amongst us but they tend not to post a lot.
Read around this forum and you will soon discover our most prolific poster Jbeegoode, Jbee for short.  You and he have a big thing in common.  I leave you to discover that or, with Jbee's permission, I'll reveal it.
Hope to hear lots from you in future.
John

I owed DF Mira Vista Resort for a day as a birthday present. We got there yesterday. We were in that huge conversation jaccuzzi with a group. Guy said that he, recognized her. She couldn't place him... She was recognized from our blog. "Oh!"
Anyway, these are two very enjoyable people. I hope that that quality enriches this forum.

Hello John and Jbee!
Thank you for the warm welcome, I have been reading the forms here in Free Range Naturism for a few months and finally decided to register in order to post a few comments of my own. I came here by the way of Jbee’s blog, as you know he has a link posted. I discovered JBees’ blog, Free Range Naturist several months ago while researching hiking and camping spots in the southwest, found his articles to be well written and informative, been a follower ever since.
CB and I began our search for nudist friends several years ago, joined a nudist website for a short while, met with a non-landed club in Tucson several times, stopped at Deanza Springs in Jacumba California for a quick visit on our way back from San Diego. We also stayed two extended weekends at Shangri La in New River Arizona, we had a great time and have been meaning to get back.
In early 2016 we spent a weekend at Mira Vista not far from where we live, Mira Vista is a beautiful maintained resort with wonderful people, so we joined and visit regularly. Last weekend we had the pleasure of meeting Jbee and the lovely DF in the conversation pool. The conversation pool is a long curved shallow pool, warm but not Jacuzzi hot, and enough seating on both sides for you and forty of your closest friends.  We chatted for an hour or so, exchanging some of our stories and experiences with them, and another couple whom we are mutually acquainted, it was a wonderful afternoon.
Until next time,
Les

Seven to ten degrees hotter there than Tucson on average, more Traffic (Yup, Capital T). It has to do with elevation and city heat. It is harder and further to get away from people and be freely naked up there.
Jus' sayin'
