jmf from France
« on: August 01, 2018, 09:41:34 AM »
Since the disappearance of the SNS forum, I was mostly on the naturist social networks Naktiv and Freenat and especially on my blog: www.randonnues.fr, but it may be time to expand my activity on the net and find lost friends and new ones too.
My English probably won't be perfect. I use an online translator, but there will be mistakes. Sorry.
I like hiking, running, kayaking, biking, sailing, geocaching...naked of course!

I'll bet that your English is better than my French. Last time I spoke French was on Honeymoon at the nude beach bar in St. Martin. I stood happily naked with a "greeny" in hand attempting to communicate with the gendarmes, who had stopped by. Having been speaking more Spanish for years, my two romance languages tend to now blend together in confusion. I kept starting a sentence in French and somehow by the end, it was Spanish.

My beautiful new wife grabbed me gently by the arm and suggested that I drop the conversation and come with lovely her. "They're going to think that you are on drugs, or something."

Welcome Home!

Bonjour, Jacques! I'm nowhere near as active as you (on foot or on the Internet!) but I try to hold onto my high-school French by reading French websites, like the FQN (Quebec Naturist Federation) and the APNEL site (Association for Promotion of Naturism in Liberty). Just like you, I get help from online translation services.

I don't participate in Naktiv because it's adults only, as SNS unfortunately was, but I do have an account there because I went on NEWT2017. There were 6 French people on that trip, of whom 4 spoke very little English, and I enjoyed the chance to talk with them, even if it had to be pretty simple conversation.

I hope you'll be an active participant here, and please don't worry about the language. Bienvenu!

Thanks for your welcome words.
I will do my best to take my part to this forum. But my trip reports will stay on my blog. It's such a work to edit the pictures and write the texts, that I can't do more than once.

I keep my trip reports on my site, too. I can be more creative, self-secured and open to larger diverse populations and projects there AND as you say, it is a lot of work to do it twice. I tune in to your site frequently. I enjoy it and to know what you are up to, my friend. Besides, I'll take up much less space here, if I just link to each post in the "trip reports" section.

Your naturist photography never fails to impress me.

Welcome back from me too, jmf
I have missed your photos but from the quote I gather they are all on your blog.  No need to post them twice - Why don't you do what Jbee does and just post a link to new blog posts on this forum?  We would be delighted for you to come back in to the conversation once again - you have been away too long!

Welcome back, jmf.

We saw the reports on your website of your leg injury. Hope things are healed and back to normal.
The photos on your Encounter post look like it hasn’t slowed you down at all.
