Carr Peak…Perfect!

We go up to Carr Peak in the Huachuca Mountains to get ready for a backpack adventure, which will be further and higher.
In Part I we are surprised how wonderful the place is on a perfectly beautiful day. Next week in Part II, we discover something beyond our imaginations.

Thanks for this uplifting report. I managed to get a couple of swims in the English Lake District, Beacon Tarn and Coniston Water, to start the new year. It’s milder rhan usual here for the time of year, but still bracing!

Top trip, Jbee and top report too!  The sense of wonder is more than evident and yet another variety of AZ terrain to engage our interest.
I await part 2 with anticipation!
