Miller Peak: Ascent to a Parting: Day 2

So, I went ahead and let a personal matter stay in the story. Not a usual event found in a nude hike story.

Thank you, Jbee
I was awed by the landscape as usual but unusually touched, sympathetic and somehow joyous that DF was able to fulfil a very personal mission in such a beautiful way in such a beautiful place.

I was touched, too, especially when she began to expose anecdotes during the trip. She had much to let go of, to honor and share with her family and for her daughters. It was closure and at a perfect timing. I felt quite honored and touched to have been able be a part of it and close to her in her process.

Glad to hear that the presentation expressed some of the awe that we felt. I do all that I know to bring the reader into the experience.

Yes, I also thought the emotional content here really gave the story (which as always from JBG, was well told and attractively illustrated) an additional theme.

A tower and a person, both gone.
