Naturist Sort of Official Holidays
« on: May 16, 2019, 12:23:27 AM »
We just celebrated World Naked’Nude Gardening Day. Here are some other NATURIST HOLIDAYS. These are all a thing! How do you celebrate? I’m looking for fun anecdotes.

“World Naturist Day 2019”
Date: Sunday, 7. July 2019 (All day)
We want to inform you that following dates are valid for the World Naturist Day 2019:
For the Northern Hemisphere: 7th July 2019
Or the Southern Hemisphere: 8th December 2019

“International Nude Day”
International Nude Day is a holiday celebrated all over the world on July 14th. On this holiday, people remove all of their clothing. This is done not only for the freedom it provides but also to celebrate the beauty of the human body and to embrace naturism. This day originated in New Zealand – where it was a huge success – but quickly spread to other Western countries.

“National Nude Day”
HOW TO OBSERVE: However you chose to celebrate this holiday, avoid breaking any Public Decency Laws.  Post on social media using #NationalNudeDay. Also July 14th.

Another “National Nude Day” I think an American ANRR promotion, is held on June 28th this year.

“World Naked Gardening Day”
First Saturday in May

“Naked Hiking Day and Nude hiking Day” occur June 12st usually on the Solstice. Look to the internet for instructions.

“World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR)” Check the Website or Wiki for details.

“Working Naked Day” happened this year on Feb. 1st.

Somebody will say this, “But I don’t need an excuse to be naked.” What creative ways may this be celebrated and how can community be inspired to participate? It is also to make noise and promote, I suppose.

Naked Hiking Day is now past. The next official holiday is declared by INF as World Naturist Day. It is July 7th, a Sunday.

I don't know what to do with it. Celebrate somehow? I suppose that I will be nude and natural, but then that's everyday...It is okay to go to resorts and gather with clubs.

A toast to naturism? A walk in the woods? Make a point to gather with friends nude? Just participate in life without clothes? Refuse to get dressed for 24 hours?

So which day is it?  7th or 14th July?  How will I know which day to be naked?  Wait!  I'm naked already and it's 2 weeks to go!  How confusing. :D :D

Both days, the 7th and the 14th. Just need to make a point of being naked, or be without clothing...maybe that is confusing! It's a veneer on an already naked wood. It is a good time and excuse to encourage others to participate. It is a good time to do something special naturally, to skinnydip on a hot day, especially with friends, or celebrate being naked and free, like a hike. It gives bragging rights to, "Hey, I celebrated" and an interesting story to tell, spice to life.

It's a good excuse to party naked....

I'm thinking of something to do.

I didn't really do anything special today other than that I was naked all day with some sunbathing in the morning and naked thereafter except of occasional donning of kikoy wrap to please the wife.  She's been binge watching a mammoth TV series all afternoon so I had the house to myself except the living room! :) Thing about a wrap is that you are still pretty naked underneath and the only contact with the body is a thin waistline where the fold is that keeps it on and the air circulates around the skirt.  Sort of naked whilst dressed.  I ordered a Thobe to see if that improves the naked whilst dressed thing.  Probably not as they have sleeves and cover the whole body.

I may possibly be doing something special on the 13th (not the 14th) if the weather is ok and certain things drop into place...watch this space.

We got a monsoon shower today, the first, warm downpour. We ran out and danced naked in the rain, singing "Singing in the RAin."

Ain't dressed.

Yesterday was deemed early celebration. Went to friends house did some photography for website stories, swam, ate excellent dinner, salmon, raw food stuffed veggies, fun accompaniments, then swam during spectacular sunset and watched bats drink in pool. When a chill came, I got out and the jaccuzzi was 107F, quite a sting. Back inside the house, good friends no clothing.

THey were busy Sunday the 7th.
