Happy Nude Year
« on: December 21, 2019, 07:12:08 PM »
Happy Nude Year, I'm sure that Yule love it.

It is always too cold to bring in the new year nude. The calendar New Year events are better suited. Dancing around bonfires in the living room can make problems.

Well, the days are getting longer and spring and longer warmer days are ahead. We have reached the half way point of the winter's blues. Time to think of where to store those clothes when they aren't needed anymore, cus' it won't be long now!

Almost 30 years ago my wife and I hosted the local AANR travel club for a Nude Year's Party.   It was indoors but we didn't have a fire or even a fireplace in that home.

Today is Yule.  Blessed Yule to all.

I wish everyone a joyously nude yule.  Of course, this is why everyone should own a sauna.  What better way to ring in the yule than a sauna or sweat lodge?  I will have one someday.  It seems like the perfect place to cast off the old and bring in the new.  Sweat out the poisons that have infiltrated your being, and replace them with nurturing goodness and love.

Blessed be all who read this,

We gain 6 seconds extra daylight tomorrow so we are on the right side of the solstice and can look forward to summer, but lets not wish our lives away, there's still those glorious crisp winter days for wonderful walking.

As for a sauna, oh yes! I had a small one 1.2 x 1 metre for a significant birthday, a present I've never regretted. I usually run it at a cool 80 deg C but it has been much hotter, but then time in the sauna is less.

Happy nude yule to all

Well,   at least try to make a happy nude yule ya'll.   It it don't work don't blame me.

I'm glad to see things beginning to turn around. Although the temperature takes a little while longer to get it'self turned around.   I still have a whole lot of work to do before it starts warming up.  hope I can get in enough of it to get where I wanna be by spring.  A fenced orchard/garden area ready to start planting is the goal. But I have to get a machine fixed an going before i can start on that,   so I been working on it.

Yes indeed, I reiterate New Year's greetings to all and wish you a happy NUDE year!
I was just thinking we hadn't had a round robin post for new year wishes and I log on and ho! There it is.

A particularly warm wish for a happy and successful nude year to our generous hosts - Stuart and Karla

I've been been dusting off old recordings and found myself listening to Jethro Tull and and Wishbone Ash this Holiday season. This version of Auld Lang Syne seems most heart felt and appropriate to website roots. Hope that you grab a cup, or a hand:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acxnmaVTlZA

Christmas night at a party, two old friends began to tone in harmonious vibration. Just two voices, then a third, and a fourth. Each also harmonious with that vibration that one feels throughout a body. A cycle began adding more and more voices, when a hand raised in the middle, met by another right hand over it, then another. We stacked as many that could fit on top of each other, still raising that wonderful positive vibration as an aum chant, just toning a pitch. Left hands added to right, drawing us closer, shoulder to shoulder.

There is a certain resonance, a oneness, available to any two or more Human beings. We went on and on.

Seeing Bob on the "How's your month..." thread has me bringing up what has been in the back of my mind...HAPPY NEW NUDE YEAR!

I tend to think of the New Years as starting on the solstice, the natural beginning of light and warm goodness coming back. This year things are disrupted to an extent. We try to mitigate, but there is certainly a difference from previous posts.

We went to the river's henge to bring in the new year and watch the light come through the portal to shine on the other side. There were more people there at this sundown than usual, but it was strangers sitting at distance, no hand holding, singing and no prayer, sort of like a gathering of tourists. A tree has grown up directly in the way of that western light, which dissipated the effect (hoping that some extensive trim happens to the errant seed), the bozo grounds people have been propagating it.  :D

There was a guy who claims to have been coming for a while, that would not stop his unsolicited idle party style chit chat. His mouth was just non- stop attempts at conversation, while we tried to fend it off. There was little spiritual about it. I brought my 1960's Cuban conga and DF and I let go with rhythms, entertained by the acoustics vibrating from the center from the perfect construction of the place. It is sort of a nitrus oxide effect auditorily. I wandered away from the henge and the clueless talker, standing next to that tree (partly inspecting it for size for a nighttime raid) and watched the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in the clear skies. DF came with binoculars, we held hands in wonder.

We went home, started up the fire place, built an alter and shared our hopes, dreams, prayers, intention and what was on our minds with the cosmos and ourselves.

Christmas was a subdued affair of four, but we did have a granddaughter and her mom, and a new VR set to play with, amongst the gifts.

We will be restricted by lack of the usual holiday social gatherings, particularly calendar New Years. This brings us to our somewhat traditional nude New Years Day hike. DF is working that day. Well, maybe the weather will be great on New years Eve Day, she's off. I'm already looking for a spot for a bliss filled nude journey, just incase.

La Nina is giving us many days with good warm sun, but lack of rain is torturing the natural ecology in this region.

Well, isn't this season about hope and faith in the midst of darkness, the beginning of change? We aren't sitting bundled by the hearth, concerned about winter provisions, or whether the sun will return, or not.  AND there was a special star traveling across the skies, again.
