Its goode to hear from you. Things get much slower on this forum in the winter months. when naturism can only be a memory, or a vacation for many, but then again, I don't really know why the traffic ebbs and flows, but suddenly there will be a flourish of activity, even in the dead of winter.
Warmer months promote more enthusiasm, more naturism to report and reflect on.
I relate to your description "addicted." With all of those thing out there being addicted to, I find it wild that something as natural, normal, the way that a body is supposed to be, feels like addiction. There's a trap of thinking in there. People are so addicted to clothes that when they come off, it is a general revelation of the senses. I have become so used to living without clothing, that covering up feels restrictive and odd.
I'd like to know more about naturists options in Portugal. How many beaches are designated, or is there a lack negative attitude. Here is USA, the law and culture are leaning into repression of the body. How is the law in Portugal in concern of nude people, or partially clothed?
I'd like to know more about hiking nude in Portugal. I was looking over the internet, looking for clues. I thought that it might be a good place to retire, or escape to, or visit. Mostly, I found the typical information of a more commercial naturism, in safe spots, socially, but nothing from someone who expands his wanderings and liberates himself a as a free range naturist. All and any of your experiences and know how would be a delight to me.
Your daughter's attitude, I would think might have changed over 4 years of having a naturist around, but outside influences on a kid's perception can get in the way. My son isn't naturist. His mother turned on naturism after our divorce. Although he lived with me, I had to curb his exposure to the lifestyle by her legal force. The home nudity was just matter of fact nudity, not such a big deal. My friends and I had to generally "politely" stay dressed when he was home, or risk her opportunistic consequence. Only casual nudity at home could be by the significant other, or me. Eventually, the social norms and habits took him over.
This is certainly a place for "like minded" people to congregate. It is als nice to talk when the weather keeps us indoors.
