Nude Across America Pt.1:White Sands

We begin our report of our epic vagabond journey across America. We change plans right off on the first afternoon, stopping in White Sands National Monument and camping just a few miles down the road.

These posts will be peppered with images of Americana, the first is a giant roadrunner, just sitting in the desert for no particular reason but to entertain.

Under an old Nike missile, I reminisce childhood at an overlook.

A desert storm takes its power in an absolutely surreal environment.

Oh Woooww.  The white Sands.  Utterly awesome.  Everything in the US is so big!  What a wonderful place.  Pictures awesome.

Bigger in Texas!

The place just reeks fun. Since I was a kid.

It is so surreal, we just had to do pics with a nude in them. The foul weather was an asset to that. The clouds helped alleviate the glare in any photography done there. It is really bright at high noon on a clear turquoise day. We were in the right place at the right time, a blessing, even with the threatening storms.
