It looks very unruly. Were thee photos of the difficult times along a less obstructed easier path? Slow going?

A first part on a wide track to reach the beginning of the trail was easy, but then it was a succession of narrow, steep passages, invaded by vegetation or washed away by landslides. Not insurmountable but not always easy! We live in a mountain region, and we are used to steep and difficult passages...

Some people wear heavy clothing and just crush their way through thick vegetation. They get caught on needles and prickers and make a lot of noise. I find that nude, I may travel slower, but I damage less, I'm more careful, less apt to slip, and I like the awareness, mindfulness, or Zen of process.

I suppose that your vegetation is much less sharp and resistant than where I live, however, an overgrown trail can be like bushwhacking. Did you find yourself thinking about putting on pants? I notice that you didn't.

I haven't worn pants in at least four months, just shorts. And I don't take any in my bag on these hikes.

How wonderful that you can hike essentially through an industrial landscape but that has reverted to such a wild and wandering path.  Great to see all the moss and ancient logs, wood etc.  Nice post, JMF.
Who is Patricia?  Nice to see a lady naturiist - they seem few and far between.
If I may ask a personal question...Do you have a partner, JMF?  If so, how do they relate to your naturism and that you are away hiking such a lot?

Patricia is a woman who has been hiking regularly with naturist groups in the area for several years.
As for me, I am married since last January - after 40 years of common life - with a woman who is not a naturist, but who accepts my participation in naturist activities of hike or stays and my engagement in a naturist association. Who also accepts that I spend a lot of time naked in the house. And who easily talks about my activity to her friends

Your partner is 'far above rubies*', jmf!  Would that we all had such emancipation and tolerance at home (because I don't!! :D)
