Wither Freerangenaturism.com?
« on: March 11, 2022, 10:42:22 PM »
This is one for Stuart and Karla....
Have you taken down your website leaving only the Forum?
I tried on a whim this evening to have a look at the website pages freerangenaturism.com but after repeated searching I was unable to find it although there are many links to forum pages?
Has it been expunged?  Have you had more abuse or hacking?  Hope not, dear benefactors, Stuart and Karla.
Let us know you are OK (or not as the case may be).
John

It's been down for a few months. I was disappointed to find it gone. I liked to stop back and re-view the content there, myself. An interlude before stopping at the forum to appreciate the photography and naturist terrain.

They said that they dropped it, but didn't want to go into details at that time. Yup. I'm curious, too.

It's a loss.

They have obviously kept the forum up and running for our benefit.  Thank you S&K.

I'd still like to hear why the website has come down though.  It's possibly a bit like my site - nothing new gone on it for a few years now!  I don't need it for business any more but I can't be arsed to go through the rigmarole of converting it to something more up to date in my life.  I don't really see the need to tell the world what I did with my hobbies and volunteer posts last week!  Sadly, I don't have a coordinated mission to showcase naturism like you have, Jbee.  The other naturist I know with a website (Nigel 'Nib' Bromley) similarly has had rather fewer additions these days as opposed to the ancient days (= about 2010!)  :)

Speaking coordinated missions, I was on the U of A campus yesterday, visiting the art, photography and natural history museums with grand daughter. I couldn't help but notice the fashion sense about. The men in various usual shorts and t-shirts, but the women in very revealing attire for classes. Lots of revealed butt cheeks and skintight apparel.

The breast were covered and enhanced generally. It would seem that a distinctive camel toe brings no embarrassment, nothing unusual. A projecting nipple, however would be a red cheek faux pas. Things have turned around from days gone by, when bra burning was a fashion must. My observations brought the conclusion that that just made no logical sense. Oh well, whatever, the youth seem to be experimenting and losing some inhibitions, a good thing.

It did bring back to mind a forgotten project of mine. To circulate a pamphlet on campus to enlighten the students on matters nude and body freedom. The weather is getting nice, off the roller coaster it has been. I'll look for time to sneak in and bungle up the ivory castle, as best that I can.

Yes, not much on the website recently, more direct contribution to British Naturism. Though less of that lately.

I hadn't been aware of this. Great places to visit naked, good times have been had I see. I'd like to read about the trips.

Nib!
Really good to hear from you.
I take it from your reply that you keep an eye on the forum.  We'd love to hear more from you, occasionally at least.
Return to our midst!
What's the BN angle?  Are you on their board or one of their committees?

Hi again!

Can't remember when I last posted! But yes, I was on the Executive Committee of BN for a few years, now just involved in my local region.

As for naturism, these days it's mostly in the back garden, beaches and BN-organised events.

Still a member at Spielplatz but not been during the plague years.

Have you noticed the new BN Sun-Folk near St Albans? It was a member club but it's now run by BN and available for day visits and camping from April to October. Not free range but a pleasant day out!

Hope you are keeping well. Long since retired, I'm still going in to work now and again!

Cheers,

Nib,
I moved to the E midlands a few years ago and by acccident rather than design have ended up in a bit of a naturist venue vacuum!
So Spielplatz (which I never managed to get to) and St Albans a bit far away for comfort.
I too am retired but still doing a lot of 'work like' activity.
