With the loss of significant safe havens in key areas to real-estate influences, how might that affect naturism and social nudism?
They are havens, and safe places to get feet wet, but we have seen that once members get lulled into the social fun, they are still remaining unreasonably afraid of free range activities and can't be wrestled out of their cages. Non-landed clubs could replace the landed. There has been concern about the aging population of the nudist clubs and naturism dying out. Naturists need meeting places,if we are to branch out, and sustain or increase numbers and activities, besides internet meetings.
Keeping a movement together is much more difficult when there can be no meetings and a place to practice the movement's objectives. We aren't heard. We aren't able to be a part of communities to perform for PR needs and our acceptance.
Youthful people got together on free beaches in the 70's, became organized into the 80's, but they are now older folks these days.
I think even as distasteful as it is to some of us here, there is a place, an extra card to play, an extra avenue, or tool to the factory farms.
