Happy Holidays to my FRN friends, albeit a bit late. Winter finally arrived here in SE Texas overnight, dropping the temp a full 40 degrees (F) to just below freezing. Blankets on the horses and a coat on me!
I have been busy over the last several weeks and quite stressed over my brother's continued emotional, physical and mental decline. He has been living in an RV in my pasture for the past 3 years suffering from Werneke-Kosakof Syndrome (aka 'wet brain'). His condition has worsened this year with a Pancreatic Cancer diagnosis. Things will certainly continue to decline for whatever remaining time he has in this rhelm.
I did invite a small gathering over for NYE that provided a welcome distraction. Traditional foods, beverages, fire and fireworks, but mostly warm conversations and comraderie. There was a chill in the air, that kept nude as an option, certainly not the only one. I have received a query or two about another sweat dome event, but not feeling the energy at this time.
Someone on twitter queried about a southern US location to experience their first World Naked Bike Ride. I opined that New Orleans would be a good bet with a nearby Naturist Park (Indian Hills). This may turn into a gathering if anyone here is interested. I attended the WNBR - NOLA last year and had a fabulous time. No way for my to predict my availability in June of this year, but will leave the date marked on the calendar.
