Guys actually do this "towel dance"?!!?!

That's sooo weird! Maybe in a public beach because of law, but with other guys!?!

That would just draw my attention, "What's he hiding?" In a locker room? With other guys!?!

I wonder if I would be compelled to say something, or just LOL, to see that goofyness. I might do something like approach behind him and say, "BOO" in his ear just to watch him jump.

I remember individual changing cubicles in the health club that I used in Bolivia, but that was coed. It was a fun place for my girlfriend and I to mess around. But with other guys!?!

I remember high school locker rooms, where pranks and varying degrees of teasing made it a Hell hole at times, but ADULTS! With other GUYS!?!
Wahda?  ;D ;D ;D ;D :D :o

Most swimming pools now have cubicles although at our club which meets at a NHS leisure pool for health care workers they are open changing areas. The only cubicles are the women's showers.

AKA "The towel dance." Highly amusing to watch. It's rather pathetic really.

Even in a non-naturist environment its sensible to removed trousers or shorts and underwear and quickly put on cossie without messing about with a towel. If done sensibly no-one bothers, its all over before they realise what they've seen. I last did that on a small boat trip were a swim became an option. Davie  8)

LOL.   I'm sure it looks stupid.   I don't even bother when I'm changing clothes on a downtown public street.  NOBODY cares.

It's a new month, so back to the topic. Well, in the chilly, dark, damp north of England there's never much chance of comfortable naturism from October to March, so it was a very normal blank for October.

2023 as a whole, however, has been the best year ever for both Mrs F and me. I'll try to post some history at some point but this year I managed a whopping (for me) 246 hours outdoor nude time and walked some 95 miles unclad. Even Mrs F did 149 hours and 29 miles. I wonder if we'll ever beat that, particularly as my arthritic hip has deteriorated rapidly in the last three months so the "fells" part of my handle is temporarily defunct.

"Offthefells"Nude for the time being....

Fellsnude. I recently read that diet can improve arthritis.

Well, for me we started with a lovely four days at the hotsprings, nude day and night. It was Eden-like, except for the company in addition to my Eve. Still, there is quite a bit of room for solitude. Miles of wandering. Kinda perfect....

DF's 101 year old mom passed on, She is still in Georgia with family taking care of that. We also, had a friend pass from cancer, which occupied DF by helping and then we organized a pe-death good-bye memorial for her. About 70 people showed up to honor and give her love, very cool. It was a busy time. This left me alone, thinking that I might get out and hike. I fell into a number of classes each day about health and biology, it was like going back to school. I have been in a water fast, so I can't safely drive to a hike. So, I've been just here at home, doing projects, BUT continuously bare all over. He weather has been wonderful. I have done several walks in the neighborhood dressed in my kilt for some exercise. It ain't the same...at all. I did find that I can get a hard breath out of running around my yard and along a straight path that bisects it, barefoot all over.

Friends have been coming over for sweats each Sunday. That is, of course, nude.

She'll be back Saturday and I hope to get us hiking/camping in the changing foliage and then the hotsprings for four more days.

Ok, now then, to catch up...

Fellsnude, sorry to hear about your arthritis.  Hopefully you can get fixed or at least get in the queue.  Americans, you should know that the UK healthcare system is crumbling underneath us.  Even relatively urgent treatment takes weeks or months before you get it nd things that are not immediately critical like arthritic hips that need replacing are all on a lonnnnnggg waiting list, sometimes years depending on where you live.  But I am in awe of your hiking statistics.  The Fells (Presumably Cumbria?) are indeed a lace where you can hike naked with impunity.  Where do you hike?

JBee -  I'm curious.... what's a water diet and why are you on it?

Nuduke:Water fast. I just consume just water for a period of time. I'm in ketosis during that time and usually for a while after, shifting and resetting my microbiome. It levels out my glucose resistance. I'm into a different diet, not Standard American Diet, which is killing people, creating a host of issues. It is difficult to escape SAD and I fall off of the wagon on occasion. The best thing for me to do is start the new leaf with a good cleansing water fast.

Nuduke - thanks for the awe! It's taken a good few years to suss out where I can hike naked, but the Kiniki wrap has made it a whole lot easier - I can stay nude until people are nearer (200yds or so, sometimes more depending on how many and what they look like) and not look weird struggling to put shorts on. Sometimes a runner or cyclist comes up behind me and I can't do anything but so far it''s not been a problem

I've actually "found" another 3 miles. The stats break down approximately as:
20miles coastal - mostly Silecroft, with a bit of Kent Estuary sea wall and a bit in Norfolk.
13 miles southern Scotland near Biggar
65 miles Cumbrian fells - if you're over this way in good weather I can give you some pointers

I've had the hip x-rayed, so will see what it's like on the inside in a week or so. Somebody I know a little on Facebook has just had his done after a 15 month wait, but he could have had it done after 10 months if the date had been more convenient. Sometimes you can get lucky.

Hi all,
Sorry I've been off the forum for rather more days than usual.  Been busy, busy.  Also got a health issue that restricts how long I can sit at my desk at the computer so more pressing matters have taken up that time.  But also I've been visiting hospitals and doctors over the last few weeks. Don't ask, it's not life threatening it would appear.  Awaiting a scan appointment and another consultant appointment to try and get to the bottom of it.  Had to go private as NHS waiting times totally unacceptable a propos of remarks in another recent post (can't quite recall which!!).

As per FRN Month - British winter has set in.  Cold, grey, torrential rain, storms (Babet), intermittent snow and generally grim and SAD provoking.  Jbee, whilst I have every sympathy for your SAD, you should try it in the dark, damp, depressing climate we have here rather than the year round warmth of Arizona and minimum 10 hour day length vs 7 hours in UK!
I have had great benefit from taking 25microgram Vitamin D tablets daily.  A few years ago I had the doctor call me in because a blood test, otherwise normal, had shown a low vit D count.  She prescribed Vit D and it was late autumn/early winter and I found that my mood was considerably lifted a day or two after starting the course.  I googled this and found it to be a thing.  I've taken the supplement ever since and I do think it improves the lowered mood in winter.

Otherwise naturist activity at a significant low.  Even domestic nudity reduced because of the amount I've been out and about doing all sorts of stuff during Nov.  Just coincidence of circumstances.  We've had light snow overnight and when I finish looking at the forum posts I'm going to go nude into the snow!  That'll clock up 5 mins FRN activity!!  But wait! It's already December so it's next month already!!  ::) :-\ ;D

Just to follow up - I went out naked in the snow just after I'd read the last post of today. The snow and atmos was not, as I had hoped, deep, crisp, even and invigorating.   It was light, damp, grey and chilly.  The snow on our back lawn was already receding.  I wrote my name in the snow in urine.  Quite neat handwriting I thought!  I rushed back inside to get my phone to photo it but in the minute or two it took me, the warm stream had melted the already melting snow and it was unreadable!  Hey ho.  Anyway, I did the FRN thing I said I would and it was nice to have done it nevertheless.

Nuduke, your name-writing exploit reminds me of a story. The mother of a teenage girl complains to her husband that the girl's name has been written in yellow snow outside their house. Father says " that's not such a terrible thing". Mother replies "but it's in HER handwriting!"

Oh Nuduke! "Get to the bottom of it" sounds like hemorrhoids! If you can get the stuff with cocaine, or lidocaine, the vascular constriction provides relief and the symptoms go away. What? Not hemorrhoids!?!

Anyhoo, DF got back a week late for the leaf changing event in the mountain canyon, I couldn't get someone else to do the campout before that and then the weather went bad. Then we began to get at a zillion  things, probably the same kind of stuff Nuduke mentioned, holidays, etc. So, no hikes! Did have the traditional Thanksgiving Party for the Sweat Family. We were hanging around clothed in the evening around the fire pit, making wonderful music after the feasting. I got so involved, that I assumed people had left, but when I got around to getting in the sweat, I found that they were all in there. It looked like flesh chickens crowded into two roost, cheek to cheek. Standing room only, singing songs and having a great time.

The weather is going to be great coming this week, so Tuesday we have set aside a naked trip out into a remote desert and after a sweat at a community out that way (I did get out there for a sweat once last month). Then, a couple of days at the hot springs during the weekend. Then, holidays will most likely get attention, but that hasn't completely deterred us before.

I've been into health and exercise. Running in circles on the trail through the yard, building little rustic fences, stacking firewood, setting up the garden drip system, planting. I built a pipe and wood post monkey bars to swing on and all of that activity, daily barefoot all over. The swinging on those bars tells me quite a lot about my health. So, far I have done only one fist out pull-up, but ya gotta start somewhere. I'm feeling pretty darn good. I'll be "getting the hang of it" soon enough.

Hosted five sweats during the month.

It ain't haemorrhoids!  Been there, got that T shirt!
I used the word bottom simply to indicate the root cause.  Not yet got a diagnosis.  Watch this space.

Hello Nuduke,
This is DF. How are you? I was just commenting that I didn't think you got so much snow in England. Is this the norm? I know grey skies  are common and rain. It's good to read the posts and see what you guys are up too. It's like visiting old friends. Take care.
