I forget my mask half of the time. There is an actual risk somewhere down the complacent line. Fortunately, I enjoy being aware and naked so much, I'm generally cognizant of my nudity.

October in england it rained almost continuously , I only actually wear a mask when entering a shop.....usually the supermarket once a week. Or if I'm doing dusty work indoors.

We have the main shop delivered and I do wear a mask when entering shops and I avoid busy places. I hall go for as many walks as I can, into the local countryside if the weather is fine, otherwise a walk round the local streets. I know two senior doctors and both have said this disease is serious and can be so for all ages. I will take their advice to try to keep safe. The real issue apart from not getting ill is to avoid the NHS getting overwhelmed. If it did at the worst case it could mean no ambulances available, people taking sick people to hospital in cars and having to wait outside with people dying outside the hospital. At its worse senario that's what the lockdown is about.

I do feel for those whose livelihoods are at risk and am making personal best efforts to support local businesses.

Hasn't rained but twice since February. You complain about rain, while I can hardly remember what it is like. Different extremes. Some of you speak of snow and cold. After months of extra high temps over 105F, it drops to the 30F's and it feels very very cold. Too many extremes are happening all over the world, just like they said would happen. Time for less drama!

I've got the wall up and the temps have been good often, so, no need for clothing, except night. Not much socializing, because of covid.  Maintaining a good tan.

We didn't do a single nude adventure in November, just home projects. Thanksgiving was messed up for covid, etc., but DF and I had a wonderful nude Thanksgiving feast to celebrate refurbished kitchen table and son's wedding announcement. I was feeling a bit uptight with the attempted coup, an outing would have been good for me.

Got to the hotsprings and did a formal spiritual sweat lodge last weekend. Began the recon of the Tucson Mountains yesterday, a close playground that needs to be liberated. It was beautiful, warm and we managed to do some preliminary liberation. We'll see how it goes for the holidays and end of the year. I might do a solo, or two if weather perks up again after the RAIN!!!!

Tonight and tomorrow, RAIN!!! First since I don't recall when, sometime before covid. 90% chance of rain. It is supposed to just sit on us!

A quiet nude month so far (like every one now till the weather improves!) but two things of note:
First, we had a deep frost about 4 or 5 nights ago and I went out for a quick dip in the intense cold (But, Bob, only about - 30F to -20F.  Nothing by Washingtonian winter standards I suppose!), with my head tipped back to see the pinprick stars in a gin-clear sky and my arms outstretched to feel enlivened once more by the cold.  After a very few minutes, returning inside, our house felt stuffy and overheated (but the warmth was welcome!).

Second, this morning.  About 6 or 6.30 am my mind floated upwards into new consciousness after the long night.  I shifted position slightly and suddenly became very aware of my nakedness in bed and how wonderful that felt.  Since I haven't worn any form of nightwear since about 1970, there was nothing unusual about this but this briefest feeling of utter nakedness and utter body contentment was unusual (nay unique) and very palpable for a moment.  I moved slightly again to orientate my body under the duvet...  and the bubble burst returning me to normality.  I write about this because the mildly ecstatic feeling was so strong.  Sort of like being naked in nature but manyfold stronger.  Transcendently brief but very memorable.  I wish I felt like that inside clothes!!
I dare say I was wholly or partially dreaming and/or slightly hallucinating at the crepuscular margins of sleep.
I turned over and fell asleep again trying to recall that lovely experience.

The older I get the less tolerant of cold I have become.  Some years ago I figured that 50F with sunshine and no wind was tolerable, but if its a windy day or in a convertible car with the top down I liked 80F and above.  Now I start feeling cold inside when I sit by my screen or reading a book for an hour.  I have to get up and move around to keep body heat going, even wearing a fleece "sweat pants" and fleece jacket.  November was cold and rainy, December is even colder.  My nude bicycling ended in October.  I put my bicycle and Mustang convertible inside for the winter.  I really need to move to Arizona and live near Jbee, or maybe New Mexico where my kids live.

Just back from a walk across our local fields. Starting temperature was 8 deg C and went down to just over 7 at the end. The walk stated with quite sunny weather but with a biting wind. It then clouded over, then became brighter again. With wind chill the effective temperature was I guess between 4 - 6 deg. C. I did some walking naked but a great deal. At one point I saw a couple coming down the side of a filed the other side of the hedge. I guessed they may come my way so I did cover up and only seconds later was confronted by a family of horse riders. All in all a good 8.5 mile walk

I never feel so comfortable with encounters during the winter. There's thoughts of being reported for being unhinged and men in white coats being summoned.

We did get some warm weather in November, enough to do some yard cleanup and even a trip to the beach. The yard work picture is the Facebook version. And although I did get briefly naked on the beach, the nice weather which everyone expected would be the last of the year, along with so many people having time on their hands, really brought the crowds out. Even after a long walk from the parking area, it was hard to feel that one was out of public view.

One of the interesting features of this beach is that if you're there at low tide (low tide, as recommended in the Secret Naturist Handbook) there are the remains of a shipwreck to be seen. I believe this particular vessel was carrying a cargo of fish from Maine to Boston in the 1930s, and although the boat was lost, everyone aboard survived.

And this one is from Monday of this week, so not last month at all. It's a fine thing to talk about running around naked in the snow, but when you feel the wind, getting your clothes off is a lot less inviting!

A cargo of fish!? You should dress that up with intrigue, like rum smugglers from prohibition. ;)

Sorry to take that "cargo of fish" concept away from you, JBG, but I went and checked on the details, and it was actually the fishing schooner Ingomar, not a cargo boat carrying fish. Here's the story:
http://northjetty.blogspot.com/2017/03/plum-island-shipwreck.html

And look, a guy in Italy built a model of the Ingomar:

John P, I had to smile at your picture clearing leaves.  The dinky little applied oval! :D Why did you do that?  Was it for facebook to avoid censure by the Great AI?

Does Facebook allow nudity with black bars covering the offensive spots? That's like Japanese porn from eh fifties! That's so sick. Is it true?
