Great, MartinM
.... Is your friend also a naturist or just one of those golden people who accept us for what we are and don’t disapprove?
John
No, she isn’t, yet.... although she has known about my naturism for some years. She has on occasion skinny-dipped and she actually seemed keen on going to a naturist swim in Wigton - but only changed her mind because of CV-19, just before the lockdown. But on Thursday she came with me to the Lune. She took her swimsuit and wouldn’t initially go naked, but after challenging herself to get in (she’s not a confident swimmer) and brave the relatively cool water, she joined me as nature intended.
A friend of ours from work who told me last year that he has been skinnydipping with his wife is now also keen to join us for future sessions although again, his wife may be too self-conscious to skinny dip, at least the first time.
I joined a BN group for a wet and windy walk to the Whelpstone from Tosside last weekend. We had two ladies with us, one who is a star convert having discovered naturism 3 years ago from the person she worked with, and demanded to know why he hadn’t told her earlier! She has done several interviews and, on this her first FRN walk, she was leading us confidently up the road, in pouring rain, as we drew to the end of our walk, still naked with several cars passing, although half of them were the same white van going past four times!
To answer your question, I live in Arnside-Silverdale. Naked walking usually means a cycle at least, but early morning when I usually run there is plenty of scope.
