How was your month for Free Range Naturism?

Apart from that aforementioned music fest early in the month, we had one outing, finally, to the hot springs. We got there a day early for a volunteer work day. It was spent building stairs out of railroad ties where there was a slippery slope leading back down from the spot on the mesa where we drum and music our way through the sunsets. It was fun work, not bothered by the heat, while nude, but shoes and hat. The springs were a perfect dessert. Spent the weekend.

This month, we plan to spend an extra trip with a different group there, so we'll make up for missing so many monthly trips. Probably seven of eight days in total.

I'm setting up the garden for spring and getting the last details for the sweat done. It rained and today would be a great day for Redington Pass, but I have this building to finish, before the folk festival this weekend. Weather has been wonderful mostly, so I've got a good tan from working out in the yard. That will continue. The cold is leaving us.

Quite the reverse weather in the UK.
We have had a whole week of sun last week with temperatures rising to the region of 20 degC (68F) and loads of sun.  I even got a bit of naked gardening done and some sunbathing from our kitchen extension which has bifold windows that fold back to let the sun in.  But this week the weather has reverted right back to winter conditions - on Wednesday and Thursday we awoke to 1/2" of snow and really biting wind and intermittent sun, rain, snow and hail showers for 3 days.  British weather is so random!


On the subject of 'How was your month', well, fairly normal for UK spring - not much outdoor naturism but today I promised my wife I would mend our exercise bike which I did naked, on the upstairs landing with her watching from the next room and, apart from an expression of concern that she felt uneasy with me working naked with tools and the heavy bike parts lest I catch some sensitive parts (hem hem!) during the process, she made no objection to the actual nakedness whilst I worked for about 2 hrs.  I continued to push the boundary and went downstairs to make lunch.  When she came down she handed me some shorts!!   Ah well, there was a bit of incrementalism there. 


Speaking of incrementalism, I have been 'coming out' a bit about my naturism to friends lately.  I have shared my love of being naked with my best friend being clear about the fact that I wasn't embarrassed about it and sharing some of the positive and spiritual aspects with him.  As a result he's mentioned it a couple of times in conversation in a group of other close friends, including my wife, and so I've had the opportunity to talk seriously about being a naturist and engage in a little discussion about it.  I am happy to say that no one displayed the usual reaction of thinking its a joke and, (because I choose my friends wisely!!) they were quite open minded about it and discussed it with due respect.  I have reported elsewhere my friend's very rapid knee jerk negative response to being invited to walk naked with me.  However, I suspect, due to the number of times he has mentioned it, usually in teasing terms, lightly mocking my proclivity (we do this together all the time) that I may have a latent naturist to develop!


Also this month Yeldew and I have arranged another woodland walk for May, in his fine almost private woodland that he has permission to walk naked in.  Hope the weather is ok for that eh, Norman?

"British weather is so random"! !! I thought it was always a predictable drizzle. May there be more hope for free walking and suntans there.

This winter's AZ. weather has been a roller coaster, extended winter temps peppered by unseasonable highs.

Just a quick hello to everyone.
It's a week since I last posted I think and nothing much to comment on in the posts sice last visit (and rather few I'm sad to observe).
Sunny in UK but extremely brass monkeys where we are.  I've been outside naked for minutes only.
But I look forward to warmer weather ahead.  In the UK we live in hope and when we get a rare warm spell we waste it because it's too short and we're not ready for it (well I sometimes do anyway)!!!

It's the breeze that can cut through you like a knife. However I did a local walk on Friday with some naked walking and I did another walk yesterday with some good naked walking. When I did have clothes on the maximum was a thin top and lightweight shorts. Despite being a weekend there were very few people about.

Hoorah!  A couple of warm sunny days in a row!  It was clothes off and pottering about the house and garden today for a few hours (including a bit of DIY in the front porch which was done at risk of encounter although throughout not even a car passed our house!  Lucky eh?) until the wife got fed up of it and I donned some shorts.  However, pretty extensive time of toleration today.  She had her head in a good book most of the time or was in another room.  Sadly around 4-5pm, I began to feel a bit chilly so I needed to don a t -shirt and joggers for warmth.

Here it is the end of April.  We're having mid 40sF (5C) with rain and wind.   We've had about 2.5 X the average amount of April rain.  In the whole of April there was only 1 day warm enough for me to go out walking on my land.  Bad weather forecast for the first weeks of May too.

It's been similar in the UK - we've had good sunny weather but with wintery temperatures (5-10 deg C) for a week or so and quite cold before that too.  We often have a sunny week around the beginning of May although the forecast isn't so good this year.  Fingers crossed!  Today (Sat) was sunny about 12 deg - I went out for some gardening nearly naked - just speedos and it wasn't too bad but chilly when the sun went behind a cloud.  I wasn't 100% naked because our apple tree that shields me from the neighbours isn't in leaf yet so they can see me in the garden.  However, it's blossoming now and will be leafy in a few days or a week or so. I am looking forward to naked days very soon.  I also have plans for a couple of naked walks - One with Yeldew in his special wood.  I hope the other location is as deserted as the last time I walked it.

April's not been a bad month. I managed several walks, all with some nudity.. I picked some wild garlic on one walk and have the leaves in the freezer for soup and salads.

A moment if amusement last Sunday. I was walking across a field when a jogger suddenly appeared. As it turned out he took a different path from me going through a gate. I had to smile when at the gate he stopped and stared for 10 - 20 seconds clearly not believing he was seeing someone actually naked. No doubt he enjoyed telling friends and relatives what he'd seen.

aprils been quite busy one way and another most of it getting in the way of naturism.  weather when its been sunny has had chilly breezes.  did actually get to the local beach for a couple of hours a couple of days ago,   a couple of fisher people in the distance but nobody else brave (daft) enough to sunbathe and we didnt venture away from the ridge of stones that formed our windbrake.  May is also going to be busy, daughter gets married towards end of month , but there should be more warmer weather to take advantage of and the nuddy beach  (church norton) , it is only 10 minutes away so can be a spur of moment decision to go. ive not had chance to get a naked ramble yet this year but maybe this week.

Having missed several of the monthly hot springs weekends this winter, we took advantage of a situation and spent a total of eight days there. Did some work there, building stairs and clipping. That place is wonderful. I met a lady musician there, we jammed guitar with some others and had her over last night to teach sweat songs that she knew.

No hiking all month, just working on the sweat and garden. The guy helping did it all nude with some other helper friends. We've done plumbing electric, carpentry, paver laying, all sorts of activity. Did another sweat/work party yesterday. They are all happy to get their clothing off freely and chip in and hang out and sweat.

The weather has been warm, with pleasant evenings. One day of rain, less than usual, drought. Kind of the opposite of Bob's weather experiences.

This spring has been the coldest and wettest ever recorded in these parts.  I don't mind high 50s if it's sunny with no wind, but I really prefer 70F with scattered clouds.  The prior record for not getting to 70F was set in 1889 when it didn't get above 70 until May 21.   Today is May 23, and it's still high 50s, clouds and rain.   Rain has been close to or more than double the monthly average for every month this spring too.   Not a good spring for naturist adventures around here.  (Spokane, WA, USA)
